6-8 hours from the boarder of Minnesota or Minneapolis ? ugh then another 7 to chicago. But if you are up for the cruise, do it. I live in Duluth, so I'd drive back with you that far hahah.

Coilovers will last one year in Minnesota. Salt kills them and a pothole will destroy them if you hit one. A friend of mine had a set of Stance on his Evo and they were dead within a year.

All right, then I'll scrap that and try again with struts/shocks...should I bother with Koni's or just get another set of FE5 SS/TC's?

I'm just so fed up with not making progress on my suspension...

And Projekt...I drive an LS...you don't want my factory front sway bar. LOL...I need to upgrade it to an FE5 sway bar.

I'm just confused by the damn sway bars for the front...lol...do I get the SC or TC front sway then do I get the 1-hole or 2-hole clamps? I mean if I knew those two things, then I would know which bushings to get so that wouldn't be a problem. HELP!?!

depends if you want or need a very good handling car, if its money, go the cheaper route.

Are you sure your shocks/struts are shot?

If you go to a TC sway bar you need 2 hole clamps and you'll have to drill a hole on each bushing (2).

Yeah, I remember that, but I didn't know how well it went and if they'd do it again. I guess worst case scenario, I package a few things up and put them in my trunk and let people know what I have for sale/swap.

I think my shocks are fine. I have a feeling the driver's side strut might be on it's way out...not sure about the passenger side. I'm going to be going back to the FirstGear Garage before the meet and I'm going to go through my whole suspension...I'll start with tearing it all apart and checking it out, then re-installing and replacing the front sway with the FE5...I think I'll buy new struts and shocks to install and I can have someone look at these and tell me what they think...that way, worst case scenario, I have an extra set or I can sell them if they turn out to be good.

I should just have someone here drive the car and tell me what you think it is. There are multiple sounds/rattles (they're different things because it's not one constant sound). I'm sure the sway bar is part of it, but I don't know what else. I'll spend one day next week with my car in the air at home and just go through everything to see if something is loose or what might be the problem.

P, I don't need any better handling, but whatever is wrong with mine makes it not handle like it first did...it still feels a little loose and I think part of it is the front sway...it seems to have a bit of understeer...the responsiveness isn't there. As for the SC bar, does that just use the 1-bolt clamp and also, why do I need to drill a hole in the bushings? I need to look to see what the FE1 bar has for clamps...I can see if I have to drill another hole to be able to get the 2-hole clamp to connect where it should.

And Projekt, I have no intention of getting rid of my OTTP bar. I don't plan on upgrading or anything so...sorry? lol
