A little help here...those of you that tune maybe can answer better.
I have a P2A01 code...I know it's a faulty circuit at the secondary 02 sensor.
My question is this, what code is thrown when you have an aftermarket header? I was wondering if that is the same code or if the code thrown for that is from the first 02 sensor?
Is my secondary 02 sensor probably bad? I have no problem going and picking one up and replacing it to see...will probably do that this weekend, just wanted to make sure it's not the same code that is thrown for a header...because my tune has that code deleted and I want to make sure it's not an issue with my tune.
Actually now that I think about it...gas mileage is down a little, sounds a little rougher in the exhaust...wonder if the sensor is bad or if it somehow got disconnected or something...I'll have to jack it up this weekend and see.
Might not be going to Warrior Dash...for some reason I'm just not in the mood...what day and time are you going Parnell and Jeff? I'm supposed to be there Sunday at 3:30.

Circuit/System Testing
Important: All modules must be powered down or misdiagnosis may result.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the scan tool and wait 60 seconds to ensure all modules are powered down.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate HO2S.
Ignition OFF, measure for less than 5 ohms resistance between the appropriate HO2S low signal circuit terminal A and ground.
If more than the specified range, test the appropriate HO2S low signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
Ignition ON, verify the appropriate scan tool HO2S parameter is approximately 450 mV .
If more than the specified value, test the appropriate HO2S high signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
If less than the specified value, test the appropriate HO2S high signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
Ignition ON, install a 3A fused jumper wire at the HO2S high signal circuit terminal B. Toggle the jumper wire between the HO2S low signal circuit terminal A and battery voltage. Verify the appropriate scan tool HO2S parameter toggles between 0 mV and approximately 1,000 mV .
If the appropriate scan tool HO2S parameter does not toggle correctly, test the HO2S high signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the ECM.
If all circuits test normal, replace the appropriate HO2S.

Thanks Ryan, I will look into that. Now for some reason it's been off all day today though...strange...I'll climb under there and see if anything is loose or what is going on.

IIRC that code is a rationality check code. basically checking to make sure the sensor does what it needs to do in an allotted time.. I'd probably just replace the sensor

no... there was a "mishap" with UPS, someone was stealing boxes and mine containing my pulley assembly happened to be one of them. I was told that the box was found and it was shipped back to the seller. Seller said he shipped it out over the weekend.
hopefully i get those soon.
then i have to get a new H/E, cuz rolling around w/ the leaky one i have now is stupid.
sad

Ryan, I'm going to have you do the following for me: front sway, new header, new dp. Also, if you can check to see if my cat-back has a leak in it (possibly patch it up) and lastly, replace my the second 02 sensor for me.
I know these aren't hard to do, but I'm lazy and would rather pay you. LOL
I'm ordering everything online right now and will let you know when I get it in. After I get it all, we'll figure out a day/time for you to do the work.
Thanks I appreciate it.
