Minnesota Chat 2011
Hello MN! So once again I've been considering looking at used SC or TC cars, as I've been thinking going the FI route for my next car.
Anybody want to meet up to do some roll races with stock or slightly modified car? I am looking for something faster than what I drive now and would like to compare them side by side. If so, PM me, I'm in Richfield.

Yeah, I'm interested, I think the cobalt is a good platform that is affordable to me and still gets good gas mileage as a commuter.
Slobalt what are the details on your ride?
Hanson.... ha well maybe we can meet up for ***** too if you like to run your car but that's up to you.
I've been on my motorcycle all summer and fall and am just getting interested in cars again lol.
My name is Matt and I live in Richfield. Thanks guys, maybe see you around.

I work near Richfield. May have seen it a few times
I have a mildly lowered 06 Altima, it's got the VQ and 5MT. Only real mod is a y-pipe but I did remove the butterfly valve in the UIM for a bit more top end. I removed the two rear mufflers and put on tips, but stock piping and resonator underneath the car. Sounds great but is quiet when cruising and no drone, love the stock res.
It's a solid ride and I love it, a bit of a sleeper too. I've had no issues with a couple fun races I've had with stockish SC cars, and am about even or ahead of a stock TC up to about 90-100mph, after which point they walk away from me.
Here's a couple pics for reference
