Hmmm....so curious about this...I know it isn't an Evo, but even a Ralliart shouldn't be this cheap used. This is GTS pricing in my opinion...wonder what the deal is...I think I'll have to email.

I replaced my strut mounts, end links, sway bushings, all that stuff...got rid of my clunks all together. Do one thing at a time. If you do the strut mounts and still have an issue, check into the sway bushings.
I'm lucky I don't have any spring binding or axle issues. I will say I'm disappointed in my Pedders though...did not hold up nearly as well as they should have. I look forward to Powell's springs, but if that doesn't work out...coilovers will be my answer.
And P, it uses the Evo IX AWD system. Maybe I haven't read enough, but I thought it was full-time AWD... I know the old Ralliarts are FWD, but they are also NA...the 09+ are a Lancer GTS with a few mods from the factory basically...
I know it doesn't have the widebody of the Evo X, it doesn't have the aluminum suspension components, it doesn't have a twin-scroll turbo, the turbo is tiny and single-scroll, the intercooler is small, no chassis crossmember in the rear (since it has a fold down rear seat), but for more than $6k less (and even less used), it makes it a possibility for me.
In comparison, it's 10 times better than to continue wasting money on my Cobalt. I could throw $3k at my car and still not make the 250whp mark. I can keep my Cobalt for a couple more years, drive it as is (well add the LSJ TB that I bought, then keep it without doing anything else to it). If I move home, I'm saving close to $1000 a month. Figure I throw half into savings for 2 years. Figure I throw the other half towards helping my mom out in terms of making updates/additions to the house (the house will be mine some day as I'm an only child so it would benefit me to help her out and do things now). The money I saved could easily be split in 2...half towards a new car, half to keep in savings.

Ah yes it's the 250hp or whatever awd detuned Evo thing. I think it is an automatic as well. No market for those so cheap
not a bad engine or anything, probably reliable except I don't know the trans.

The tranny is the 6-speed Twin-Clutch SST...has normal and sport mode, but basically an auto, yeah. Nice to be able to use paddle shifters or the tap-shift on the gearbox if you want to.
The only problem I'm guessing with the transmission is that the clutch (clutches) probably can't handle too much power without being upgraded.
The car puts about 200-210 to the wheels and 300 would be a nice place to get it to. I don't think it would take too much. Upgrade to the Evo X intercooler, upgrade the charge pipes, intake, test pipe, cat-back, tune...I'm sure that would get me over 250 at the wheels.
My main thing is handling...the car does all right, but it's no Evo...I think with some suspension upgrades and around 300whp the car would be EXTREMELY enjoyable all year...and if it turns out that the car doesn't like winter that much whether it's because of the power it would be putting out or whatever reason....Cobalt does an amazing job in my experience.
237hp 253tq...quite a small turbo, but very capable. Not as aggressive looking as the Evo and also a bit more functional for a family/parent...especially with fold-down rear seats.

Be on the lookout for a 2009 Imperial blue T/C with Gunmetal Enkei's with red pinstripes, Highrise spoiler. They sold my car at Jeff Belzers in Lakeville today.
PM me if someone on here knows who bought it, they better take care of that S**T! haha

That's the WOT with Sport mode selected...it's better than the Cobalt...that's for sure.
Here's the full video of him doing comparisons in Normal mode to Sport mode under different throttle loads....
