Anyone interested in anything off my car? Looking for some cash, willing to sell a few things.
Depo projectors. My HID's went out, now I have halogen Silverstar Ultra's that I just put in this week. Still on the car, would need to pull my stockers out of storage to put back on. Looking to get $200 for these since I just put new bulbs in. But will entertain offers. Brand new the lights are $190 from Modern plus shipping. The bulbs they come with aren't that great. Work way better with HID's, but since mine burnt out within 3 days of each other, I had to hurry up and get something else. I can include my HID kit for nothing and you can figure out if it's a problem with the ballasts or not. It might be because I recently installed my G5 sub and there might be a voltage issue that caused them to go.
Pacesetter 2.2/2.4 header, Pacesetter 2.0 header (never used), Exhaust Depot catless DP to go with either header. I don't have any hardware to mount these together. You'd have to get that stuff yourself. Will sell one header and the DP together for $100...you pick which header you want. Or take both headers and the DP for $140.
Also have the single gauge pod that I picked up recently. Will sell that for the same I paid...$30.

I'm ready to drive mine off a ******* cliff....St Paul cliffs will probably do. I'm so done with GM...it's all I've ever owned, but next vehicle will be either a Focus ST, Speed3, CX-5, or possibly a Golf R depending on price. Hopefully next summer....that's the goal especially now that where I'm living, I was just given a notice that I have to move out by Jan. 1st instead of March/April like I was hoping.

Golf R is super over priced and is probably slowest car.
Nothing is wrong with mine...I'm just sick of the cheap shitty materials, the creaks and other noises, the suspension starting to give me problems again after I fixed it all earlier this year....the Pedders are starting to go...they're a little over 2 years old now and they just don't act the same as they did when new...I want Powell's springs, but I can't afford to upgrade anything at the moment and so I figure I'll try to part what I can out and sell this thing for cheap...maybe I can get $3-4k for it pretty easily once I return it mostly to stock...not sure if I should sell it with the Pedders/FE5 on it or throw the stock stuff back on...probably ride nicer with the stock stuff for someone who is looking for a cheap daily.
I bought the car figuring it would be great as I was just having a baby at the time...planned to own it for 10 years, not to do what I've done to it...now I'm sick of it. If I don't move home, I have to keep it since it's paid for, but if I do move home to get other aspects of my finances in order and help my mom, then I'm for sure picking up something new/more fun that I HOPEFULLY won't modify anytime soon. (yeah right)
As for the Golf R...It looks like a great car all together when you look at all aspects...it's not as fast, nor does it handle amazingly, but I don't drag race, I don't auto-x, etc.
If I were to find a used one and save about $10k over MSRP, then it would be in the same price range as the other cars...I've found a few (not locally) that fit the bill.
The two things I've seen that I need to look into more are the ESC...supposedly it can't be disabled and that really hurts the fun factor if I were to ever track it. As a daily though, it would be quick enough...can get some decent power out of a tune alone. I'm actually not fond of the manual only option...wish they had the DSG. The quality of the car and the
When they would always do the heads up matches for the sport compact cars and the SS/TC would wind up in 3rd...I always complained because on a performance level, the SS/TC really has an edge...especially when you throw a tune at it...but then I realized they really look at all aspects including daily driving, comfort, quality of materials etc. This is why I'm looking at the Golf R...it's a civilized car...I'm not a kid anymore so I can't stand the cheap ass GM stuff. The Sonic/Cruze are better, but still not what I really like.
I'm waiting to see what Mazda does with diesel actually because I would really like a CX-5 diesel AWD...or maybe a 3 if they put a diesel in that....maybe.
Speed3 and Focus ST are at the top of my list to check out though. Especially with how great of a deal the MS3 is fully loaded, new. I'm just not happy it takes so much aftermarket to get them to equal the SS/TC with Trifecta tune alone.
And...lastly, if I could get over GM's cheap ass quality, I would find myself an HHR SS and call it a day...but between quality and blind spots, I don't know if I could, even if it's priced right.
