I MIGHT be interested in the SC setup, but I wouldn't be able to buy until spring...
However, I am pretty determined to get a new vehicle...actually after looking at Mazda's and a few others, I'm pretty much set on the Sonic 1.4t manual sedan. RS hatch would be nice, but doesn't seem to have enough extra's to make me really want it more than an LTZ sedan. Fully loaded LTZ is only $19k MSRP so it's a much more reasonable choice for me than a Speed3 that will cost more to start with and the insurance will be way better on the Sonic...only downfall is less cargo than I wanted, but I really don't have any need for tons of cargo space anyway.
Slightly lighter than my sedan, slightly shorter, a little wider, an extra cubic foot of trunk space...a LOT of aftermarket all ready...and with the 2013 you get a 6-speed manual...not the best gearing, but not bad...can do a full E85 tune with injector upgrade and other work and be into the low 14's maybe 13's...seems like a relatively cheap car to modify and easy on the wallet to purchase...SO much better than a base Cobalt in my opinion...if I would have started with an SS/SC or TC I would probably think otherwise, but from where I am to where I want to go, it seems like a win with better MPG's too. Sounds like on E85 I would get at least the same mileage I do now if not better still.
Not sure what I will do with the Cobalt yet...I'm driving it this winter, then come spring I will decide whether I part it out or keep it for winter use only and backup in case I do more work on the new car.

I definitely don't have that kinda money to throw around lol. I was just curious what sorta price I should expect when I wanna go boosted. Still not sure if I'm going to boost this for sure or just save for a while and buy a nicer car to throw my money at.
most kits include only the basics ( supercharger, manifold, tensioner, idler, intercooler pump and a couple other little things. i'm going to include all bolts, gaskets (just because), hoses, clamps, heat exchanger, brackets, intake, throttle body, couplers, map sensor etc...
