yea they're used but just from another cobalt who got rims there and didn't want the oe ones... omw there, my coolant temp sensor went out... stopped to see if losing coolant and feel the engine to see how hot it was... seemed fine... shut off to see if that would help... start up... didn't wanna start lol, kept turning over and trying but barely got it going... got temp sensor for 11 bucks after discount tire and fixed! engine temps are fine and on my test drive, saw a black cobalt with an exhaust on it here in eagan, anyone from here?

On another note, does anyone know where most of the cruising goes on anymore? We used to rip around University in St. Paul the last couple summer before they had it all torn up but now I don't know where it all goes on anymore

 

welllllll... in the warmer months... ricekillers has their get together every monday night in brooklyn park off of hwy 81 from like 7-dark.
cars and coffee meets at a garage compound, don't remember the name of it. once a month on the first saturday, HUGE meet. tons of exotics and a lot of domestics and tuners too
every wednesday at the sonic in bloomington, my friends/local club get together. average night would have 30-40 cars, biggest night was i think 76 cars

ahh i see man, yeah Ricekillers is fun once in a while, I went when it was in Fridley and at MAP, but I get sick of looking at the same highschool kids and douches that drive rusty hondas and dirty trucks in there, and don't get me going on the ******* skittle guys. Lol, but i'll have to make my way down to Bloomington when it warms up for sure.

Id rather not go to a ricekiller meet but that is just me, too many highschool kids. I know theres a few other meets where people goto and race. keeping up is a must though, cops went after us a lot last year so I wouldnt advise being the slower car.

 

Throwing this out there. Anyone want my VIS oem carbon fiber hood? I've only had it for about a year now but i may be going back to stock. I don't have any good pictures right now but it's flawless. $350 and an OEM black hood. If you're interested lets talk.

i have a black oem hood from an 08 sstc.
also bought my car january 2011 in the cities it was out side a smoke shop they wanted 11,500 it was on craigslist i think listed in bursville has a salvaged title but looks good any way was wonderin if anyone on here knew the guy who owned it before so i could get a lil more info on the mods.
and i live in the marshall area but would love to come up and hang out with others who share my interest in cars this summer i would really like to go to the road course in brainerd

 

i plan on running power cruise and proving grounds if i can get my engine rebuilt by then
