Hope to see everyone at B Dubs tomorrow at 4pm! Just an FYI, me and the people I'm going with will be parking at the Woodmans directly across the street bc their parking lot is much larger and easier to navigate. The B Dubs parking lot is a cluster f*ck at best.
I'm sorry guys for bailing but it was nice to meet everyone and we have to do this again in the near future!

I've driven the same length of time for Chicago Ecotec meets down in the southwest suburbs, not to mention GLD every week, so I don't mind making the drive.

I've got an idea for a ppace to meet next time. Its in Kenosha. I'm on my way there now and will post pics later today or tomorrow. Should be a real nice photo opp if there is enough light or get there while the sun is still up.

Here is my idea for potential location for next meet. Not sure if we could get everyone together for afternoon thing or maybe meeting here at like 4:00 when there is still plenty of light. This is right on Sheridan road just south of the Carthage campus and couple blocks north of Washington Ave/HWY 142. There is also a picnic area across the street if we could get a couple people that have portable grills maybe and have a sign up list for bringing different food items to cook. I counted 20 parking spots and I was there at like 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon and they were pretty much all empty. The beach itself is down a hill past that bike trail so there is no actual sand at the level the cars would be parked.

I stopped last year at a place farther south of there and took some pics but when I drove through there yesterday the road was seriously f-ed and don't want to set up something and people end up jacking up wheels/tires or anything......it also said no parking after 7pm. This is a pic from couple summers ago of that place. The rocks are stacked alot higher now though. You can see the road there and how jacked up it is.....it is even worse now.
