thanks so far i'm loving it. the 1st gen CTS-V (04-07) only came in a few different colors.
04 - only came in Light Platinum (silver) or Raven Black.
05 - they added "Red Line" (maroon-ish) and Stealth Grey (blue-ish/grey & stupid rare)
06 - they replaced Red Line with "Infrared" (looks to just be a name change)
07 - they replaced Stealth Gray with "Thunder Grey" (dark grey)

Strange how quiet it is in here these days. I remember people battling for post counts. and now its like Im looking at the ruins of Rome after its fall.
My cobalt is holding up really well. Havent had an issue since the key got stuck in the ignition when the tumbler broke 4 years ago. About to hit 95k miles.

There were only really like 10 people that commented unrelentingly in this thread a few years ago. They all got rid of their cobalts moved on. Im still here. Nothing really to share. Have a 2 week old newborn and a 2.5yr old. Im too busy to do community things or go to the track or Tail of the Oppossum.
If people see a white LNF sedan rolling around with NJ plates, it's me. I'll be around the Newark, Bear and New Castle area. Just picked one up, would be cool meeting some guys!
I work in Newark off main-street. So I will probably see you around. I've got a black LSJ with some paint chipping and blacked out tails.
Anybody in DE have a lead to a good 08-10 parts car? Short list I'm looking at:
- FE5 front strut assembly (I can trade my Monroe Quick Struts for them)
- FE5 rear springs (possibly)
Gotta redo the lower ball joints (probably brand new FE1 ones in there right now). Also need at least 1 wheel bearing, an O2 sensor, thermostat and to diagnose a rear suspension crunch. Lots to do, and my tools are still at my parent's house in NNJ.

I'm gonna have 1 Continental DWS06 (9/32) for sale next week unless nobody wants it. Sized 225/40/18 with a 2016 production date. $40 picked up
I'm getting new tires next week and it seems like a waste to throw this good tire out.
