We bought the car with the old one on there so I'm guessing it was a stock one...maybe...lol. Here's a pic from like the day after we bought the car...

Here are a couple pics alot of people don't seem to care for it, but I wanna go outside of the box slightly.

Kristin, thats not even the stock cobalt tip, looks like someone cut the stock one off which looks nice by the way and put that pepboys style tip on.

I would like too, but cobalt addiction wants like $245 for it, and i'll be putting out enough money for it so I think it would just stay indigo blue for the time till I got the spare money for it. I really want that style carbon fiber hood that is in the pics too.

I think powers was talking saturday about covering some stuff in cf vinyl and then clear coating it...cheaper than reg. cf and he said you'd never be able to tell the difference

yay I'm picking up my jwt popcharger tomorrow and I ordered a billet grille and a momo shift knob last night while dropping the car off...can't seem to get out of that place without spending money lol

^linky to the popcharger...I was researching intakes and it seems that the 03-05 Z's have a very good stock intake and its pointless to get a CAI, but these have gotten great reviews and lots of people have them...I'll be on the lookout for a chrome intake tube

I saw the pics! I like the low rise it looks good!

ok i really dont get it.... it just looks like an "air box mod"

for $180..... all it is, is a cone air filter instead of the stock air box, you can save your money and just do a custom intake.

I could only imagine if you put that time into your cav how it would have looked.

haha true that. Mine had like 70,000 miles I think...it ran ok, no real mechanical problems, but the damn thing was broken into twice and hit 3 times without me in it!!!!! Not to mention the fact I screwed up the suspension by having it lowered on stock struts for so long! I needed a fresh start and ever since we got the SS last summer I had been looking at getting rid of the cav. When we found my z for the price/mileage we couldnt pass it up I won't forget the cav, it was the first car I ever modded

oh yea... you never forget your first car or your first car you modded. i actually miss each and every car i've ever owned. my cars were a 92 Cavalier (2 door w/ 2.2L), 92 Dodge Stealth R/T (insane sound system), 03 PT Cruiser GT Turbo (surprisingly fast, had lots done to it), 06 Cobalt LS (great car wish i kept it) & now 06 Cobalt SS/SC (wish i didn't mod it because it's broken now )

My first car ever was a 1990 black chevy lumina, so when I got the cav in 02 I thought i was the hot **** driving around in it especially since it had the 'sport package'. Wish I could find those damn pieces so I could sell them...they're in paolos house somewhere...along with I brand new blitz front bumper. We couldnt find them the last time we looked...oh well
