Does anyone who is from CT know about the Berlin Turnpike that runs from wethersfield to middletown. Eveyone and their mamma goes there in the summer friday and saturday nights. Lots of nice rides. We need a big Cobalt convention to show these people what the real deal is. Anyone interested? Sometime this summer....

 

Hey there, I'm right down in Meriden which is right on the Berlin Tnpk. I've been looking for someone else in the area.

Berlin Tpke=Facist **** State, there are more freakin cops on that road just looking to screw you than I have ever seen, Better choice is in Wallingford, there is a wal mart show that lots of cars go, if we all go there we could have a block of SS'

 

It is true about the cop situation. I'm not talking racing just to meet up with with some other cobalt owners. You guys are right about Connecticut lacking in cobalt ss/sc owners. I have only seen one other one on the road since I bought the car. So what does everyone think about the Wallingford idea. I'm in Wethersfield so that's not bad. LET'S DO IT!!

 

I live about 5 minutes from the Wal-Mart in Wallingford. And it's true, the cops up on the tnpk. really go over board. I got kicked out of Dunkin Donuts for sitting ther drinking a coffee with my wife while in my Z-28. They threatened to arrest me if I didn't move.

 

considering its the berlin tpke, they def treat it like a **** state, I got treated the same before, stopped at roy rogers for a burger or something, 2 cops in cruisers came up to me and ORDERED me to leave, I was like just want some dinner and they told me leave or I leave with THEM....THEY SUCK!

 

OK so let's do the Wallingford thing. Screw the Berlin Turnpike. Lets get together this spring. We need to know when the meet is in Wallingford. BTW guys I ordered my stage 2 kit today so by the time we meet it will be intsalled.

im up in CT but i dont have the cobalt yet. and the pike is a bad place. i used to go up there all last summer then i got pulled over for takeing a left hand turn in a left hand turn lane. i went when the light turned yellow and i didnt make the turn befor the light went red. i told the cop i didnt want to hit my brakes for the light hard because there was 2 guys on motorcycles behind me and i didnt want another passanger in my car. $115 ticket

 

Lets do this Wallingford meet. When is the exact day? I think it's the 13th.

ok so we realy need a ct meet. im thinkin sometime in the next couple weeks. im not a fan of the pike. let me know what u think and if you have any ideas.

 

I'm down. Every tuesday in Glastonbury at McDonalds on Main st. there is a little car meet. Also every 3rd Saturday there is a car show in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Walingford.

 

aight if i can find the glastonbury mcdonalds ill be there tuesday. what time do ppl usually go down?

 

I can't make it this Tuesday but next Tuesday I will 100% be there. People show up around 6:00pm. It's nothing big maybe 15-20 show cars and then our Cobalts. So next Tuesday would be cool.
