as for the race car comments.... these cobalts are not race cars, they are decently quick street cars.
we build real cars. those are the ones that are taking a while. for me the cobalt is back burner project when I have time between working on every one elses crap.

it was up and running saturday morning. unfortunately trying a few parts never used on a cobalt before and they are not playing nice. have to drop and reseal the oil pan also. taking wednesday off to finish it up and should have it back on the road this weekend after a few test drives.
and mike showed up at 7:30pm saturday what's your excuse lol.
and when you surpass my 150+ 1/4 mile passes and 196k miles of commuting with it then you can talk lol.

was yelling at you for doing 4th gear pulls when you know your out of pump
and it's the alternator not turning itself on, and an oil leak on the pan (didn't know they guys didn't seal it when I picked up the motor).
plus some other misc wiring I have to do for both stages of nitrous and all those damn co2 tanks in the trunk. plus got a killer stereo going in the car now too.

Sam I was gonna tell you on Facebook but you should make this meet on thursday night... thats when most people go (you know aside from cobalts, even though most cobalt owners are nut swingers )...
6-8 years back thursday night meets netted 500+ cars every single week. it was awesome until it got shut down after people started getting crazy. Not sure if people still go I haven't been there in a couple years.

ohh come on John
Are you thinking of coming to this one?
yea id kinda feel bad then lmao.
it was a huge scene because people would travel from all over the tristate (including the very rich parts of Alpine, NJ and people from NYC)
then some morons started coming, ricers, etc. Basically one time a bunch of people started doing burnouts/donuts and then a couple drunk 18 year old girls took their shirts off and started dancing on cars. Police locked down all the exits and most people got tickets for misc ****. Last time I was there (about 4 years ago). It actually made it in the newspaper that week
