On the note of that black cobalt with the nice gold wheels anyone know a good/cheap powder coating place?? I know there is a guy in Columbia that does it for 50 a wheel and that is prob where I'm going to get it done unless someone knows a better price?

K so I'm feeling lazy again when it comes to painting my wheels.

I was going to do some sanding and spray paint this weekend, but now I'm feeling like doing the lazy PlastiDip route again... I just dont want to have to order the glossifier online, the matte black didn't work for me.

Also, I'm debating on even bother sanding and just go for the paint haha. Sand the rough parts

And Kevin, I'm seriously loving these wheels, I think they're sick

 

niceee man, glad i could help make a fellow tuner happy. you don't need wheel specific paint. just a high temp paint like an engine enamel. personally i prefer a caliper spray because its high temp and made to last. just remember to put a clear coat engine enamel hi-temp on top after you do your painting. you definitely have to sand the spots where it chipped or flaked because that means it didn't adhear to that spot previously. once you get going on it you'll be fine. i know it sucks working on things alone tho. a group of guys workin on some stuff having a drink or two with the radio on is a good time, don't see much of that anymore.
