Spring Dyno Day In CT!!

Just wondering if anybody would be up for a Dyno day in Connecticut sometime in early spring. It would be held at Jannetty Racing in Waterbury, CT. I have sent a couple e-mails back and forth to them and they said it would be $85 dollars a person for three pulls. I know that may sound a little steep but, from what I have heard these guys are good at what they do. Also I found out that two of the guys have SS/SC with various mods and one of them is very knowledgeable in tuning w/HPTUNERS. If you would like they said they can schedule you for custom tuning also at $180 for three runs. BTW they use a Superflow 840 Chassis Dyno. If anybody is interested please let me know. Also if anybody would like to do like pizza or something after I am deff. up for that.

Here's the website if you want to check it out:http://www.jannettyracing.com

can they do anything for the 2.4 ?

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 11:22 AM

Like what do you mean?

CTCOBALTSSS 12-23-2006 11:26 AM

Yeah bro I would be down.

I have dynoed at Bristol Dyno in E.Hartford

Count me in. My wideband will be installed by then, I might need some tuning.

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 11:31 AM

Ok sounds good, yeah ill have my intercepter and wideband by then along with my other mods. I have been to Bristol Dyno, many times also, I just thought I would try something diff. for a change.

G5GT2007 12-23-2006 11:40 AM

i just want to wake the computer up a little or something. i dont no to much about tunning i just no it can give you some good numbers. what are some things they can do?

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 11:43 AM

I do not know if they have done anything with the 2.4's, but I will talk to them and find out for you, I don't think they are in to day so I won't have an answer for you till prob. tues ok.

G5GT2007 12-23-2006 11:58 AM

k thats good

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 12:17 PM

Ok 01sunfire01, I just got a email back from them, and he said it shouldn't be a problem so you are good.

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 02:22 PM

Bump!!!

G5GT2007 12-23-2006 02:24 PM

nice what can they do to it? also whatever they do it wont mess up how the car runs and the dealer cant void the warrenty? but this is great to get it tuned count me in

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 02:26 PM

They will prob just tweak your a/f ratios, maybe touch the timing a hair and if you have any mods they will be able to work off of them too.

G5GT2007 12-23-2006 02:33 PM

i hope to have the GMPP header GMPP cat back and GMPP intake

CTORANGESC 12-23-2006 02:36 PM

Lets go people I want to see this happen, there is no set date yet, but I am thinking march or april for this. All surronding states are welcome to come also just let me know.

CTCOBALTSSS 12-26-2006 08:41 AM

I hope this works out. I need a tune bad. Can't wait! :guns:

rukkee 12-26-2006 01:05 PM

Hit me with a PM when you guys decide on a date , i might plan a trip to visit relatives in Waterbury for the weekend . 8)

XM15 01-05-2007 08:13 PM

If I could tune, I would go: stupid 2.2! I am curious to see what I would put down, but without doing any tuning, it would be kind of pointless. Of course I might be persuaded otherwise. ; )

Edit: Count me in!

CTORANGESC 01-06-2007 03:18 PM

No it is not pointless, everybody should get a baseline of what there car is at. I will most likely be doing my baseline on this day.

G5GT2007 01-06-2007 03:22 PM

the 2.2 eco is fine to put on a dyno. hey i put my 2.2 OHV motor on the dyno and got 95hp and 108 torque so dont be scared of what the eco will put down you will be around 130ish

XM15 01-09-2007 09:03 PM

Hey CTORANGESC! What kind of date will we be looking at for the dyno? I'm just asking because I have the Vibrant parts listed in my sig on order, and I plan on getting a GMPP cat-back exhaust as well. I was thinking that I would like to have these parts on before going to Jannetty's.

tonio5555 01-09-2007 09:18 PM

Is there any more of a discount if we can arrange a large group? I don't really have any mods so idk if I'd want to waste the money on a dyno run.

CTORANGESC 01-11-2007 05:37 PM

Hey XM15, Iwould ahve to say it would be around APRIL, some time in that month I am planning, If anybody has any other ideas for dates let me know.

Hey tonio555, I can ask them, depending on the number of people we get.

calchr2 01-11-2007 05:50 PM

im in, even though i live in mass. good old uti and meeting people!

CTORANGESC 01-11-2007 06:01 PM

Hell yes ^^^^^ Come on people you know you want in on this Dyno Day!!!!

mikey80z 01-16-2007 07:37 PM

My question is...will a tune work on an otherwise stock setup for an increase in power? Because i'm down for that...
