Seeing that its a holiday weekend thought this would be a good time to try and get a meet going. Had a few willing to meet up in the spotted in nw thread

Days for the meet up in the poll

When a date is pick we can pick a location.

A location i had in mind was Southcenter mall take some pics on the roof parking lot. Its usually empty

 

Saturday evenings work as well for me but I voted for the one Sunday. I work every saturday but as long as the meet is after 6 we are okay.

 

I'm really okay with anyday, just picked Saturday because it's a weekend. Preferably anytime after noon works best here.

 

I'm okay with Saturday just was keeping the options open. Want a decent turn out

 

Hmm...I could do a Saturday evening...

 

So what would be doing at this meet? Is it just show up for a hour and meet locals at a parkinglot then leave?, or is it we meet up at a parking lot, and go to a local track for the night.

Reason id like to know is cause it is a over a 3 hour drive, and as much as id like to go, it needs to be a bigger meet, not just 2-3 cars showing up.

 

Sorry, only have Tuesday Wednesdays off. But don't work till 4 on Fridays, and weekends.

 

Understandable point seeing that you are so far out.

Atm their is 4 that will be willing to meet up this Saturday including myself. Hopefully the others that were willing to have a meet in the spotted in nw thread will join up. I'm open for whatever to happen when the meet is going down. Cruise around the area chill and eat socialize etc. Get a few go pro videos in of all the cobalt's cruising together etc.

If a few want to go down to the track i'm more than willing to go.

How many going to that meet in lacey? It's actually a bit closer for the people on that side. It's a 40 minute drive for me a 30 minute drive for Tyler if he is still in the location in his profile an hour for salvage instead of 2 hour. It will still be an hour drive for cf cobalt if the meet was out their.

Was planning on going to the mall in Tukwila to meet up then from their hit the Kent track up for those willing to go.

 

not sure who going...i would go by myself cause I dont mind the drive...i love driving my car, I live fife now, but its still a lil haul but I dont mind. Would be nice if some balt guys show up, but in reality its just a local meet where they just bs and go do some mexico runs. So it might not be worth the time of some of the further guys. When you going tukwilla mall??

 

When is the meet Friday? You guys meet up right near Discount tire right? Lol if so I'll be there.

 

Anyone want to put springs on thursday? I've got the tools. Just no power tools or spring compressor if I need it lol

I dont mind driving to lacey i'm in federal way lol fife isn't that far away. If you plan on going pm on here i will roll up with you. Be warned my cobalt sound like a pos atm. Need a new TOB and timing tensioner. . GM quoted me 1.2k for the tensioner fml

Just dont want to leave the other two that were willing to come out on saturday hanging. If they up to driving out to lacey on friday that is.

Are you talking about the upper timing chain tensioner that is located on the outside of the block firewall side? If so, the part cost 60.00 to 80.00 (replaced mine a few years back) and can be done easily. Elminated the rocks in the coffee can sound...again, if this is what yours is doing.

Sounds like there will be at least a few of us in Lacey Friday night. I suggest showing up at like 7:30. 5600 Martin Way. Maybe we should do a small Cobalt only meet Saturday or Sunday too for those that can't make it.
