Horrible Customer Service W/ OTTP

I've worked with OTTP in the past, purchased both their stage kit and there longtube header. Have had good service, but something seems to have changed.

Recently, my OTTP header broke at one of the welds. The exhaust shop near me refuses to work on my car if its catless, plus the noise has been getting to me, so I decided to buy the catted downpipe from OTTP.

My order was processed on 4/2/14 and funds we're withdrawn from my paypal account on the same day.

I did not receive any notice my part was delayed or out of stock, I eventually emailed them on may 14th to see what the status was on my part. Josh told me he would check on the status.

As of today, may 31st I have not recieved a follow up email.

TL;DR

OTTP has been holding $300 of mine for nearly 2 months with no sign of parts being shipped.

IF MODS want proof, I'm willing to screenshot my emails and send them privately, but I don't want to post any of it publicly.

Same deal on some parts I got, first they were shipped to somewhere, then they never got shipped, then they were lost, then found and sent to me when I asked for a refund after a month of waiting. Only when I complained in his newest FS thread did my parts actually show up 3 days later.

The bad rap they've been getting lately is literally the only reason I didn't buy parts from their most recent sale.

You are 100 percent right. I looked back and dropped the ball on your order. It doesn't show up on my screen which means I messed that one up. I can have one out the door Tuesday and you can have all the money you spent on the product in store credit. Let me know if that works for you.

Cory, I am still waiting on the supplier to ship. I have offered you guys a refund a couple of times. It's either that or continue waiting for them, my hands are tied on this one.

Not a business sale. That was a personal sale and I did forget to ship them and then misplaced one of the joints. Check the tracking though, it was shipped before you spoke up.

You offered a refund if we paid shipping back I've already paid $170 shipping. And you gave my wife an attitude in your emails. I will not do anymore business with you or your company thank you and have a nice day.

hope you guys get your issues sorted out... I never had any problems with OTTP through multiple orders. Actually just ordered some CABs last week and they came in like 2-3 days.

I see things haven't changed. I had problems from them back when the hardcore bar came out and they were the exclusive distributor.

I recently did business with OTTP and had an ok experience. I received my shifter, cabs, steering rack spacers, and Stage 2 mounts in 2 days after ordering. My sway bar was another story. Wasn't too pleased with how long it took considering their site said they were "in stock". I like buying from companies in my home state to support the economy so hopefully Josh can tighten things up and in turn see less of these threads.

And I can sit here and tell you that every time I bought parts from Josh at OTTP I had them with in a week. All 4 times now. He even sent me free solid bushing for my stage 2 mounts when my voided ones ripped.

Thumbs down Going Out of Business Sale?

I understand that the parts are often drop shipped from the manufacturer. However, an order on 4/18/2016 with ZERO updates on a "Typically ships within 7 days" item, and five unreturned voice mails is the sign of a business going out of business.

I reported OTT to the Eastern Michigan BBB who has a F rating on them now (Sure wish that I would have checked before buying!)

I've found the same product from a nationally recognized seller and since I've purchased many thousands of $s of merchandise from them over the past 40 years, they sent an Ecotec Adjustable Cam Gear Set free of charge, and trust me to pay them when I receive my refund from OTTP. It always hurt me to buy from Ohio when I grew up in Michigan, but they have taken care of me very well over the years, and this is the icing on the cake.

As for OTTP, it's not working as a side business guys. Better get out before your legal problems become an avalanche.

Just received my short shifter from OTTP.... got tracking info the following day of my order.... and received the part within a couple days. Just installed it last night. Great product. Very happy with my experience.

This was my first time doing business with OTTP as well. So I will be definitely doing business again after my good experience. I understand how taxing it must be to do what he does.... and to run his business.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience KevinBrown. Hope It gets resolved

I've been having issue with them since March 2ND around there. still haven't received all my part and still haven't received answers for all my question. I have stuck up for ottp and josh in the pasted but now I know. It's a really big disappointment.
