It can take awhile to make since he will make say 50 in each batch and they all have to be sent out to be powder coated. Youll get it, dont worry. Not making excuses for him. Just saying that he will come through for you.

I've reached out to them about 4 times now with no response. It's been more than 14 days now since I placed my order & a simple we are working on your order or it will be shipped soon would be enough for me However it's the no communication that has me worried.
You have to remember, 14days for businesses generally means business days so almost 3 weeks. Add the holiday in there and the fact a lot of fab shops and machine shops take extended time off around the 4th and you have additional delay.

Most credit card companies and paypal have policies to protect you from being taken by a shoddy company. OTTP isn't a shoddy company that will just take your money for nothing (note the earlier complaint about not getting his deposit back was clearly stated in his initial agreement), some things just take longer and some things are simply outside of his control.

You guys are absolutely correct I just got a phone call from Josh he let me know that my bar was sent off to powder coating last week & that they should have it for about 2 weeks maybe longer with the holiday in there! I thanked Josh for the update it really put my mind at ease

Well I'm not happy with OTTP. I understand that quality takes time however their website said that my sway bar would arrive in 14 days it didn't say business days just days. I placed my order way back on 6-22!! After multiple multiple text messages to Josh & emails through their site & voice mails left via phone calls I finally heard back from them for the very 1st time a month later on July 22nd. They told me that the powder coat shop had it & that I would get in in no more than 2 weeks. Finally today 8-3 which is what nearly 6 weeks after placing my order my sway bar finally arrived.

I was super excited to finally get it however upon opening up the box I find that they sent me a dam black one when I specifically requested it to come in the color RED! Now I know there's going to be people out there who say who cares what color it is you can't see the rear sway bar anyhow because it's under the car but that's not the point. The point is they were misleading with their shipping time, they have horrible communication with their customers, & after all of that they can't even get the one simple request correct that I asked for & that was the color of the dam bar.

I am a very easy customer I never complain or ask for anything more than what's advertised & I can't say that I've ever had an experience where I would say that I would never shop with that company again because with me being easy going & understanding once I finally get what I ordered I'm happy & the rest is just water under the bridge however OTTP is now the 1st ever company that I'm proud to say I will never do business with again!

Its common knowledge that businesses only operate on business days. Funny how that works huh?

Trying to figure out why people expect small businesses to operate like Amazon. He can hold a huge inventory due to financial liability, 2nd day shipping would kill his profit. He's most likely working with a fab shop and obviously working with a powder coat shop. So when exactly do you think he has time to update his website estimated delivery times?

So if he works mon-fri, 14 days is pretty much 3 weeks add a holiday to the mix plus shipping time sounds about right

Small business or not it shouldn't take a month to get back to someone.

Agree with ya on this one. He should of informed the customer of the realistic delay, but there are so few actual salesmen that give realistic time frames for delivery (run into it all the time at work) they call claim they can meet our deadline then when it comes we're wondering where the hell the part/equipment is and they're conveniently out of the office for a few days.

Even if it took x amount of weeks constant contact makes the seller more at ease being informed in any situation good or bad.

& that's all I was looking for guys was the communication again I'm a super easy customer to deal with & I know that perfection takes time however it was the lack of communication that had me upset & then what really set me off was the fact that when I finally got it they had sent me the wrong color. I know the color isn't a huge deal & it does nothing for performance however if there going to have the color option on their site then they should make sure they send you what you ordered especially after the long wait & lack of communication. I went back & checked & everything that I have from OTTP from my order confirmation email to my shipping email all say OTTP rear hardcore sway bar (RED) so I did select the right color however the bar came in black.

I run my taillight hobby as if it were a business and that means sometimes sacrificing a weekend and canceling personal plans to meet a deadline to keep the customer happy. It also means giving the customer a realistic lead time BEFORE they order and pay. If customer satisfaction is not your number one priority, you are doomed to fail as a small business.
