Very compelling, Josh. Any plans for a delrin knob? I can't stand metal shift knobs with the temperature swings.

Josh@ottp 07-05-2013 08:13 AM

Yes, black delrin will be an option.

shroogis 07-05-2013 08:13 AM

Oh man, I think ya got me with that!

06cobalt racer 07-05-2013 05:28 PM

pic of it in a car?

Omiotek 07-05-2013 05:49 PM

throw reduction? will it work with twms comp knob?

dwarrick 07-06-2013 09:06 PM

Looks good. Also looks like we can use that knob on a TWM. If so you could make a killing selling different knobs that are not a bazillion dollars

That depends a lot on the height that you mount the ball at. I designed the shifter to be taller than other short throw shifters on the market for better ergonomics. If my numbers are right it will be between 29% and 38% depending on shifter ball height. I will measure in the car just to be sure though.

TWM makes a bunch of adapters for their shift knobs. They may have one to convert their ball to ours but our ball will not work with their shifter.

waiting for the in car pics!

Cobalt_SSTuner 07-09-2013 11:55 PM

Presale price?

Josh@ottp 07-10-2013 09:22 AM

Not sure just yet. Depends on a lot of things. Could be about $100 off if we get a ton of people involved.

Cobalt_SSTuner 07-13-2013 02:05 PM

I like that

maliki778 07-18-2013 09:28 PM

Cobalt_SSTuner 07-18-2013 09:43 PM

I want this, bad. just gotta get the car running first...

Josh@ottp 07-19-2013 09:56 AM

I am just waiting on our cost for a few different shift knobs and then I will start a sale. We will have a solid stainless knob, a solid black delrin knob, and a stainless core/delrin outer know.

Josh@ottp 07-22-2013 03:13 PM

Ok guys I have final pricing and a time line. I would like to run a pre-sale for 1-2 weeks and then have the shifters shipped out 2 weeks after that.

The shifter will come with your choice of shift knob and you can choose to add shifter base bushings if you want.

These prices are good for up to 75 people. I don't think we will get more but if we do the pricing will be better.

Shifter with stainless ball $199.99

Shifter with black delrin ball $204.99

Shifter with hybrid delrin/stainless ball $249.99

You can add base bushings to a shifter order for $9.99

I would like to start a list to see how many people are interested in buying.

Empty Pockets 07-22-2013 03:22 PM

SalvageBaltSS 08-11-2013 10:04 PM

Want to see other pics of it installed in the car. IF it is 100 off, I might be interested

utsadude 08-20-2013 06:33 PM

Anything happening in this thread?

Josh@ottp 08-27-2013 01:11 PM

I have a handful of them in a few customers cars for testing. Been in them for about a month now. Not too many people seemed interested so I haven't played with these in a little while.

riceburner 08-27-2013 01:52 PM

looks like a nice little unit!
