I cut mine about the same as the size of this one and the signal is still okay. Your signal will vary though depending on the station u listen to but who cares, cds instead.

not true, i have the mpx shorty and it gets perfect signal

I just put on the mpx and the signal is about the same as the stcok antenna.

I have the MPx, but my signal gets shitty when my HID's are on. LOL

That's weird lol my HIDs are always on and the reception is always the same. Do you have a relay harness?

not a huge deal

The radio just gets a tad fuzzier, i don't have hid's in my high beams, and when I put the highs on it's clear again.
No shorts in the wires.. Hmmn, i'm not really sure, but I hardly listen to the radio anyways because I have aux.

I have an mpx as well. Reception is fine in the city but I live about 15 minuites outside of the city and I have noticed the repetition is hit or miss.
