Engine and Transmission

Yes this is a very serious thread. I have had an opportunity to buy a c5 vette with a built transmission and just waiting for a monster motor and monster turbo set up lol. Even tho I have had a very good time being close partners with ZZP and close friends with a lot of people on here there is no sense in maintaining two high hp cars. There will be two ways I am trying to sell this stuff, one includes the complete car, however I do not think there will be anyone that wants to pay 18k for the car no matter what records it holds or not. So here is a thread for the motor and trans. I will not part out the motor, but IF I have someone that wants the motor, and someone else wants the tranny, I will split only after they prove they want it and have money. There is over 17k in parts in the engine and transmission, there is only about 2k miles on this set up and that's maybe. I am asking 7,000.00 and a swap with your stock set up including engine, trans, turbo, basically dropping the cradle on both cars and swapping them out. Or 10,000.00 outright. Anyone that was looking to build there car to the crazy this is a chance to get a very insane set up for a very good price. If someone wants the transmission, that is 4000.00 and the motor will be 6000.00. This set up makes more power then the old set up, how much, I truly do not know but the logs are faster, the car made 526 on the old set up. The car just recently went 158 mph on the only pass at the wannaGOFAST 1/2 mile on the limiter in fourth gear. We expected the car to go 162-164 on the next pass but never got to do it. Scythe Snake can vouch for how clean the set up and car is. On to the list of parts. Any questions just ask. Thank You for looking.

If you buy it outright I will pay half shipping cost. I don't even know how much that would be.

Where in OH are you located, do you have a shop or the tools where you are located to do the swap. Might possibly just drive there and so the swap, would probably less then shipping cost.

I have my garage, but have all tools needed to do it. I did all the work on the car to this point. Motor work was performed by gressmans performance local to me and everything else was done by me. Biggest thing for you would be I only have a tune for e85, so you would have to map out your trip home by stations. Probably wouldn't be very sufficient really. But I live in Castalia Ohio, up near lake erie.

So here is a couple shipping quotes. If I would ship from my terminal close to me here, to a New Mexico residence it would be 574.64 and if you would pick it up at the closest r and l it would be 358.00 based on 300 lb package. It might be a little more then that tho. So not as bad as I thought. If it weighs close to 500 lbs then it will be 750 to ship it.

Interested in the transmission. Pulling my stock F35 as we speak, but some one will probably snag it up before I have the money.

Bump for my good friend. Good luck with the sale. This doesn't get you away from bringing the new beast to the 1/2 mile next year and more chilling out together!
