FS: ATI Super Damper, UD, never installed

Gents,
I have a 5.5" (under drive - UD) ATI Super Damper. I was planning on using this primarily because I need to drive a dry sump pump off the crank and this pulley has the necessary attachment for a mandrel.

Per the instructions the pulley has been honed to have 0.0008" of interference with the crankshaft. The dimension of my crankshaft is shown. You will need to check if yours is similar.

In the end I decided to use the stock pulley just so I didn't have to deal with the inconvenience of an interference fit. I will offer a friendly warning that installing this pulley w/o having the key extended to the end of the crank can be tricky. Note the comments from Bluelightning (thanks) below, a little heat gun action and it should slip right on!

Regards,
Daniel

Heat the inside of the pulley with a heat gun and it slides on easy peasy. Even with no extended key way. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully a new owner can put it to good use. I'm not entirely sure I can get the engine out of my car with the crank pulley installed (it's not a Cobalt) so I sort of chickened out trying to get it on. My modest power goals really don't justify such a nice damper anyway.

friendly bump, make an offer for a new pulley that should not require you to hone it (must be done if you buy it new).

Yes, the directions require you to hone the bore to achieve a specific interference fit with the crank.
