ECaulk Jul 8, 2013 08:25 PM

Assuming you only want the fronts, but incase you want the rears https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/part...s-sale-299550/

BLKLS Jul 8, 2013 08:29 PM

Lol, I live in PA, wanna swap?

SummitwhiteSS Jul 9, 2013 02:10 PM

Yea don't want back brakes just front. And don't want to swap just gunna use them to drag only need my brembos to stop when I'm cornering lol

DarkChild Jul 9, 2013 02:15 PM

Just run 17" DR's. Swapping is a waste of time. Do one or the other.

BLKLS Jul 9, 2013 09:00 PM

Yeah, swapping every time you race is silly. Like he said run 17's. if you wanna swap let me know.

onefstgtu Jul 9, 2013 09:13 PM

I got lsj brakes. Crossdrilled and slotted rotors w/ hawk pads. I would swap with you send me a pm if you want...

shabodah Jul 9, 2013 11:44 PM

I've got calipers, but no pads or rotors. Willing to ship from WI to there.

SummitwhiteSS Jul 10, 2013 07:22 PM

Swapping everytime I race isn't a big deal. Im a auto technician. I have my own place. Not hard to do... trying to find local parts so I can pick up... not swapping my lnf setup. I'm keeping it

SummitwhiteSS Jul 10, 2013 07:24 PM

This thread is to buy parts. Didn't ask for your opinions

"Swapping is a waste of time" pretty sure the stock turbo record wouldn't be in the 11s if it were a waste of time. And Chris and Matt wouldn't be going 10's on a 17" wheel.

Rotors and calipers/pads are needed obviously. LSJ rotors should fit over LNF hubs, the hat should be wide enough. As far as lines I'm not sure if you need a different fitting from the Brembos to the conventional LSJ brakes. Send Chris a pm I'm sure he's got a list of everything you need.

I'm not saying that swapping them in general is a waste of time. I know that getting a set of LSJ brakes so that you can run slicks is better than getting 17" DR's. What I meant was that constantly switching them would be a hassle but if he is willing to do the work every time then more power to him.

It's about a 30 minute job.

SummitwhiteSS Jul 11, 2013 08:24 AM
