LSJ Partout

I got a new job at a salvage yard here in town, that coincidentally sold the dealership my used motor in my SS, so they have my old core.

Theyve asked me to put the parts on here for sale. The bottom end had been rebuilt, but its basically trash now, there might be some salvagable parts from the bottom end. rods/crank/etc.

The motor is complete as far as I can tell. So if you need something let me know and Ill see if its there.

Make me an offer on the parts. Any questions just let me know.

I tried to spin the supercharger pulley, and it didnt budge, so it could need some work, or just have ice on it.

Yea, it just snowed today for the first time this year, I assume its been sitting outside for about 6 months since the accident.

Its under a small cover, so it wasnt completely exposed, but it has seen some weather. If I check and any parts are bad, I will discuss it with the person interested. Not gonna sell something that rusted and trashed.

Someone could piece together a full SC kit REALLY easy, or an extra intake manifold/endplate to modify.

I would assume so, IDK about the valves though, its certainly possible they COULD be bent.

Here is what happened. The motor hydrolocked, the motor was rebuilt, and it spun a bearing, they replaced the crank and cyl1 rod and bearings again.

I drove it 100 miles, and it gave out again, they concluded the cylinder wall must have had a hairline fracture from the water, so they bought a salvage motor, and used this one as a core. So it is sitting at a salvage yard that I started working for on monday.

I wont be able to dismantle it, it would be freighted on a pallet. I had originally planned to sell the parts off it, but my boss doesnt want to mess with that.

You could easily buy the motor, use what you need and part out the rest, I mean there is a complete supercharger kit ready to go, you could make profit off this easy.
