Ported head , with supertech 78lb springs and retainers, ported exhaust and smoothed intake , 5 angle valve job ,deck job yada yada. I have no flow numbers but this head netted me 50+whp untuned on e85 with a tvs. The heaad is still on the car and i wont take it off until someone buys it. head had 10k miles on it before the port and i only put about 1k miles on it so 11k total.

haha yeah i always say that... alot of people around here think that $500 for a 10% gain on a 200hp car is just way too much money.

This mod did more for me than I tvs ever did, not lying because I'm trying to sell

Tvs gave me like 40 whp with alot of headaches over a portion of a couple of months and money spent on supporting mods this mod gave me 50 whp untuned with nothing but a direct swap

 

He's pretty much got everything else tho X. And he's still got pistons to buy from me.

 

Knowing what I know now If I had a choice I would do the head and not spent extra on a tvs but that's me

 

He's still got a ways to go though. He's gonna be in the 12's before he even gets his hands on one. I'm holding onto mine since I've gone into the motor.

 

right now the car will go 12's on street tires with just the mounts i put on. Only thing i have left to do is get my meth kit and add a front mount to my dual pass and opt B. Do you have before and after dynos? The only thing is with me being a tech, and my friend being an awesome machinist i can do the valves and springs myself and have jp port and polish my head and save alot of money

that 13.1 was leaving at idle feathering the gas and crossing the traps with 170 deg iat2s so im losing major timing in the back strech. With just the meth and front mount i plan on going at least 12.60s to 12.70s and i still have yet to run my car with slicks. I like the TVS but i also like being known as one of the fastest stock M62 cars. Im around 280whp right now and if i could add a head that proven 50whp id be sitting pretty. If i can get my car to around 350 to 375whp i will break into 11's

 

Yawn...., if this guy would open the shop, I'd say lets race after I finish the car!
