Wheel adapters: 5x110 to 5x114

Im selling my wheel adapters because I recently got new drag radials and they are mounted on 5x110 wheels, so I have no need for these. I purchased them from a member on here last year and used them a few times on the street and once at the dragstrip. They come with all the lug nuts and obviously all 4 spacers. Im asking $225 shipped OBO

Thanks!

Is it safe to ride on these?

They're bolt on so they are safe, but will put a lot of extra stress on the wheel bearings. The biggest problem is they're so thick your wheel selection goes right out the window.

no it doesnt...it makes wider whels more available provided you dont mind a bit of tread stickig out

NJjon 02-08-2010 07:37 PM

Thats a bit pricey... I can get them that cheap new. Do you know how thick they are in mm so I can calculate the offset...

InfraRedline 02-08-2010 11:06 PM

I believe they are 20mm, but ill measure tommorow! And the price is a little negotiable

InfraRedline 02-09-2010 12:36 PM

Well I was wrong, they measure out to be about 27mm thick

i was thinking about doing a 4x100 to a 5x114.3 adapter on my ls. i was wondering where you got these from and if you would consider them safe to drive on daily? thanks!

ls1fbody 02-12-2010 06:53 PM

^^^truth^^^^

and dont change it, just because you think its a base model thing....its actually alot better then having the ss bolt pattern, with no selection.

tpete763 02-12-2010 08:20 PM

I know the 4x100 has a lot of choices and I don't think it's a base model thing at all lol I only ask because i already have two sets of rims that have both the 5x110 and the 5x114.3 bolt patterns from my old car, and they have good tires on them still too. I figured it would be better to give this a shot instead of having to get new rims and tires. I ask about the 5x114.3 because i see on some of the websites it says that the 4x100 to 5x110 conversion isn't possible because the patterns meet at some point.

ls1fbody 02-12-2010 08:23 PM

itd be cheaper to just buy new wheels.

And yes, you can't do a 4 lug to 5 lug adaptor because they don't mesh.

InfraRedline 02-19-2010 05:14 PM

Bump!

troyss 02-20-2010 12:40 AM

Damn what kind of rims are in the pic?

InfraRedline 02-20-2010 10:29 AM

They are iforged rims on my boss's veilside NSX. If you watched the 1st episode of bullrun its the white NSX on there, except now the lip is black instead of chrome like it was on the show

InfraRedline 03-08-2010 01:24 AM

you will the prf1 fit in here there 5x114.3 do they fit in the adapters thanks man

BooSSted 06-28-2011 12:24 PM

That forsale post is 16 months old.....

But yes, You can run 5x110 to 5x114.3 adaptors for RPF1's. The only limiting factor is going to be offset. The adaptors may be too thick for the offsets available in the RPF1's
