I love playing with the focus between close and far objects with my eyes when I'm bored.

i do the same, jump from foreground focus to background in focus

thats how i take photos when i dont have my camera around...still figuring out the memory card storage o.O haha

Don't worry; I'm the bigger retard who thought 'niece' was a wheel company. Exam mode fried my brain and I read Niche. I was surprised seeing the first photo.

I click on the image then right click and chose large and copy that code

And paste in thread. I never post with the link to take you to flickr

Which seems to be the only problem

well i did it..

i finally picked up a d3100. i am not a good picture taker haha but ive wanted a SLR for a while.

good thing is i have alot of free time to practice. anything i should know right off the bat? i have no experience haha but i have taken a fewpictures around my house.

Just learn your settings and how everything works. Put it on M (Manual) and start spinning dials and messing with settings. If you stumble across something that you don't know what it means, just open the manual or look around on the internet. That's pretty much how it starts lol. Congrats on the new purchase and I look forward to seeing some of the pics you take!
