Looks good!

tanelk 05-28-2011 05:48 PM

I use to have that on the roof, you did a good job putting it on, but im not feeling it.

TommyP 05-28-2011 05:50 PM

It does kinda look like a primered trunk from farther away. I wonder how that would take to clear coating?

royce777 05-28-2011 05:51 PM

^thats what i was thinking

1995chevy 05-28-2011 05:56 PM

looks good real smooth

elecblue06 05-28-2011 06:01 PM

it take shitty to clear .. the only way you could get a shine would be to possibly put a clear vynil over top.. and even then.

it looks alright.. they make glossy stuff now though..

it looks matte black which looks kinda cool if there was more of it

This is the best and newest stuff out, 3M. This is as shiney as it gets. Its layered material, its textured

This is the stuff your talking about. It does'nt even look like CF up close, and they don't give you a warranty if you put it on the outside of your car. Dude at Sign Me Up has been in the biz for over 15 yrs, he know's his shit, this is the best there is

Clearly you don't know what your talking about. I researched this for a while, got samples of everything and what not. The 3M is the only stuff I recommend. Shiney stuff falls apart in the weather and dulls quickly and when you look at it close it doesnt look like CF. If you don'nt believe that I did'nt look into everything before I dropped nearly 300 dollars on this stuff, contact Signmeupsigns.com for more info.

Looks just like mine, different light gives you different results. Not going to clear. Did this as an another way to fix the damage to my trunk lid. Kissed a wall on 75, damaged the tail light, trunk lid and bumper. Already fixed the tail light, got the trunk wrapped and will be getting a bumper in June. Then don't argue, when you open up your own vinyl shop for 15 yrs come back and argue:)

Getting a real hood, did the trunk like that because it is hiding some damage. It was still almost 300 between the material and labor, and because of this I'm holding off on doing the roof
