but i went to the NHRA D4 Spring Nationals today and got some good upclose pictures/views of some super comp and comp eliminator cobalts...and they are definitely factory body panel'd, factory dash, factory doors, ss/sc front lip and side skirts, factory(working) headlights and tail lights, factory upper grill. one even had the license plate mount still on the front bumper. pics and videos when they're done uploading on photobucket.

i think he maxes out that FACTORY LS 140MPH SPEEDO pretty easy. yes thats a working foglight button, yes thats a working headlight adjustment knob, yes you can still adjust the mirrors manually just like in an ls, yes the glove box opens/closes and latches. and yes it does actually have a dome light. but it wasn't hooked up.

can't really tell in this picture cause i was all the way at the end taking videos of the top alcohol guys. but this is an ex Greg Anderson prostock body GXP running in one of the comp classes. 3 stages of nitrous...but leaky solenoids caused him to actually blow the welds on his intake manifold...and everything else infront of the fire wall haha, fast and furious ain't got nothin on him :lol:

i got a video of a TAFC getting loose and taking out the 1/8mile MPH and ET blocks that might cheer ya up..

rod you should really give these guys a call and have them finish your project. or just buy one of their bodies and put your engine in it :lol:

Getting them to finish it would cost too much $$$ for shipping and right now I don't have a motor which is the biggest hold up. Because the block hasn't arrived there is no sense of urgency because we need a few other items as well, to finalize the engine bay. The good news is that we now have a weigh bill for the block which is supposed to be here in 10 days.

Not at all. I do feel bad that JBP screwed you, but I can't wrap my head around anyone investing the amount of $$$ that you have to convert a FWD econobox into a RWD car, when you could have bought a WICKED RWD car for less money.
