Bumpin Balt vs. Juiced SS: The 19's photoshoot

I met up with a local member today (Juiced SS) to pick up a wingless trunk lid from him. I'm psyched about going wingless in the near future! :twothumbs My wheels are 19"x8.5" Stern ST6 Hyperblack's with +38 offset and 235/35/19 Nitto Invo tire's. Juiced SS has custom drilled 19"x8.5" Axis Shine's with +35 offset and 225/35/19 General Exclaim UHP tires

Here are our Balt's engaged in a staredown!

I almost bought a SOM Balt back in '06, but I waited until I wrecked my Sunfire and then bought the '07 LBM Balt.

Unforgiv3n 07-02-2010 11:51 PM

I like the wheels on the orange Balt

We are both on Progress springs. I don't plan on going any lower, but Juiced plans on getting coilovers soon. My tires are bigger too, so that doesn't help the stance.

BLAZIN07SS 07-03-2010 12:25 AM

19's are difficult to stance with. our wheel wells are narrow, cars look good though

Bumpin Balt 07-03-2010 12:36 AM

I may get some lightweight 18's next summer.

sjc0013 07-03-2010 01:03 AM

both cars look great. Where did you get your springs from? Bumpin i wanting to go with 235 on my 19's instead of 225, i think that tire looks great on yours

Bumpin Balt 07-03-2010 01:14 AM

I think we both got our springs from TH Motorsports. 235's fill the fender wells nicely, but they also raise the whole car a bit.

sjc0013 07-03-2010 01:28 AM

i think the stance looks great though, def picking up those springs

how do they ride?

They are pretty smooth. Better than Sportlines for sure! I have TC FE5 struts, which have more damping than SC FE5 struts. If I were to buy springs now, I would likely get Pedder's, so look into those too.

Caligula 07-03-2010 01:33 AM

SICK cars.

Yea i have heard a lot of great things about pedder's. I will have to look for some.

The only downside to Pedders is the high rear ride height. They give the car a raked stance, which is good for handling, but not everyone likes the way they look.

arman14 07-03-2010 01:46 AM

Both cars look nice.:thumb:

ralliartist 07-03-2010 06:09 AM

looks good, 19's is too big for me though. Hell, the stock 18's are a pain sometimes.

Bumpin Balt 07-03-2010 11:37 PM

19's are perfect looks wise IMO. I may get some 18" Enkei PF01's as I start to add performance upgrades such as GM Stage 3, Vibrant header, etc.

Joe Schulte 07-04-2010 12:16 AM

I'm liking both, well done guys.
