Climb's build (turbo l61)
got bored and decided to make a build thread
Car Info: 05 base model coupe
Stock Options: manual windows/locks/mirrors etc. 5 speed
check out my facebook, alot of pics from the interior swap on there
Modifications: Engine & Suspension
-aem cold air intake
-3" stainless exhuast with magnaflow muffler
-ttr motor mounts inserts
-short throw shifter
-snap-on screw driver handle for shift knob
-bc coilovers
-dc sports front strut bar
-fe5 front sway bar & moog bushings
-17" motgei ff7 wheels with 215/45/17 in the rear and 225/45/17 up front
-1/2" spacers
-arp extended studs
-BWR open ended pink lugnuts
Interior
-black interior- glove box, drivers lower dash, kick panels, all back pieces, need to get black seats, want ion redline recaros
-black leather ss door panels
-power window& power lock swap (used all factory wiring harness/regulaters and switches)
-ss pillar pod with cobalt series air/fuel gauge (will be wideband later)
-A & C pillars dye'd black to match the rest of the interior
visual:
-ss front bumper & lip
-ss skirts
-g5 gt rear lip
-painted mirror covers
-removed wing
-black housing headlights
-6k hid headlights and foglights
-powdercoated mirror black valve cover
Parts waiting to go on:
zzp stage 2 turbo kit include:
-borg warner 256 turbo .55 ar exhaust housing with 3in v band dp flange
-zzp stainless manifold w/ 38mm v band wastegate
-tial mvs 38mm wastegate
-zzp 3in turbo downpipe w/ wg dump, catted, migt cut off the wg dump, weld the hole shut and make it and external dump
-air to water intercooler
-zzp stage 3 heat exchanger
-tial Q 50mm bov
-03/04 mustang cobra cooler pump
-spec stage 3 clutch
-flywheel (brand new gm replacement)
-cobalt series -30/30 boost gauge
-brand new oil pan (needs bung welded on)
-42lb injectors
Have to get/do
-wideband, and oil pressure gauge
-weld wideband bung into dp
-new gaskets for everything, intake, exhaust, t3, etc
-pre order my tune that way its ready when install is complete than do some logging and get tune tweeked till its perfect
day one stock lol

Charge piping b4 powder

got the exhaust installed saturday after work and this was before it was cut to fit lol
dont mind the supra in the background...

i thought about sellign the air to water kit but, it come with my kit, and its all in great shape other than the overspray, so i figured ill run it till something happens to the h/e, plus i think it will be cool to have something different

Haha thanks riceburner, I can't wait to get the boost flowing, but as much as I want to get it done, I'm in no rush to get it going just taking my time collecting all the right parts todo it right the first time, I'd like todo lsj front brakes b4 I boost it, better to stop than go fast and not stop

clutch will b here friday, flywheel im thinking monday, got to order new flywheel bolts and throw out bearing from gm slowly but surely shes coming along

quick update, injectors will be here this week, throw out should be here too, clutch install soon than order my tune, and i gave my oil pan and dp to a buddy to weld in oil dump bung and o2 bung

Figured I'd post up the interior swap/ power door swap
Full inside door harness
Before
After (I did the swap after it rained so some water ran down my door panel it's not cracked lol)
And this is finished, my a pillars have been dyed satin black to match rest of interior
New shift knob!!
And my new favorite pic of her
As soon as I get Saturn ion redline recaros my interior will b done!!

im from jefferson hills/west mifflin area, i live about 5 mins from bower subaru/nissan/gmc and the regulators bolted right in and plugs right in but i had to run power wire, ground and wires across the car for the other door, still need to finishing wiring the power locks, i just got my aftermarket keyless entry
