Sup peeeeepssss... member since 07.
Bought the balt brand new and owned an 07 LSJ for nearly 9 years. It was a great car... just wanted something different. Also wanted something more "prestigious" I guess you could say. Who else is on here? Snail, staged, rice burner, royce, 07metallic? LOL
What is everyone up to nowadays?
Here is my old balt:
Replaced with BMW 335i M Sport RWD + 6 Speed Told myself I wouldn't mod it too much, didn't work out lol. Full Bolt ons, custom tune, KW coilovers, forged/lightweight wheels, big brake kit, full lip kit/diffuser, etc. 400whp/473wtrq on e40.
Daily driver is VW GLI Autobahn Edition. 6 Speed. APR Tuned. I enjoy it... Well built car IMO.

Glad to see the balt back in your hands... always was a fan on the white + black combo.
I looked at a mint black 4 door LNF in December but couldn't pull the trigger lol. Got the vdub instead (in b4 haterz)

Thanks my man... I always remember trying to get all the one off CF bits you were rocking . I had a lot of CF bits on my car but never the engine pieces.
That car must move. I may do big turbo next year, but car runs so smooth now on current setup I don't want to change much for now. I'll see next spring.
TY Sir

I agree, they do. Figure I don't want to get into a bickering war about them on a cobalt forum cause obvisouly everyone here likes balts (including me ) but main reason was I ultimately wanted something newer (year and mileage - the lnf had like 50k on it iirc) and vdub still in warranty. Lastly, the GLI interior is honestly really damn nice.... kinda has the audi structure to it. Its fully loaded so it has navigation/bluetooth (important for me as I drive a lot of work and bullshit on the phone for work lol) has nice seats, and red stitching all over the wheel and seats and around the trim so it pops pretty good for a jetta ... overall the LNF was a nice candidate, just not what I was looking for at the time.
haha valid points. You're right about the pump being a weak point especially at a higher power level but I haven't seen really any issues regarding the turbo anywhere. Cars are obviously a bit newer so not a lot of high mileage ones out there (for example 100k+ miles) but from what I see they are very reliable and a lot better then the older n54 models. I haven't had one problem so far

no i completely agree, before i snagged my sedan i had my g5 as a dd and i wanted something more luxurious. I was so close to pulling the trigger on a regal gs awd. Then i came across my sedan and i could pass it up (especially since i was putting a yellow lnf sedan back on the road) one day i will get the luxurious dd i want. I love the features like nav, heated leather, remote start, push start, keyless entry (all options you cant get in a cobalt). Although the reaction you get when you freight train someone in a yellow enterprise car is priceless
