Deer 1 - Cobalt 0

If a person really wanted to make one ***** to the wall, short of finding one with an already grenaded engine for cheap, their best bet would be to get a high mileage 2.4 just like you said. The main differences between the 2.4 and gxp/redline is the engine, rear diff gearing, coilovers, front fascia, and a couple of badges.

Well $4700 damage and they're going to fix it . But I also just noticed they missed the scratches on the side ground effect and to repair the door. The door is totally fucked, there's no fixing that lol. So it'll go up a little more. The guy said if it was a non SS for sure write off. But because it's an SS with lower mileage and in such good condition it'll get fixed no problem. They're giving me $230 for a left headlight, so I'll throw stock ones in for now till I build my retros.
I bring it in Oct 1st. If things go not too bad I may just be able to get it back for some shenanigans before it gets put away before winter!

That's definitely my biggest fear.... The place I'm brining it to my buddy works at and is a total car guy so I told him to look after it haha
Ah I think I've decided once the Cobalt goes it's V8 time. Gonna run it one more summer with a 256et then it's time for a boosted V8.
