Freshly liquid claybarred and polished

I just got done cleaning up the car with some ice liquid claybar and polish and just decided to take a few quick pics. Sorry for the quality, all i have is my phone.

nice! have you ever used real claybar? do you have a comparison opinion?

looks like its tough to truely appreciate the shine it has through the camera lens.

these are the times when im glad i have black (there are very few hahaha)
black seems to love the camera as far as reflective shine

Thanks

yea, ive used the meguiars clay bar and it does work better, but is also more work. I just used the liquid claybar cause I was too lazy to use the real one. Using the liquid claybar does get some of the grit out, so its better than nothing.

haha yea, it looks a lot better when u see in in person. It actually shines too! my camera phone just really sucks.

bigrroberto 09-13-2007 09:08 PM

I just bought that same stuff along with the liquid wax. Any tips? I've never waxed a car before... :S

saunders1986 09-13-2007 09:11 PM

DC52NV 09-13-2007 09:14 PM

motorola camera phone doesn't do justice to your car's shine.

g5mike 09-13-2007 09:17 PM

i have used the number one of three (meguires cleaner) and it does a great job, just as good as a claybar.BTW your car is so shiney its hurting your dogs eyes,he has to turn away.

Thats a big scar from dog fighting. J/K

No for real +rep for yellow painted headlights. First time I seen those on a yellow car. I think I'm going to paint my projector HIDs body match and put a black eyelid on them. Your car looks very clean, I can't wait to wash/claybar/wax/polish my car for the first time.

BTW, your balt looks like its lowered...

fortmaccobalt 09-13-2007 09:59 PM

its really not hard. just put the polish on with ur applicator in a circular kind of motion, wait, then wipe it off with a microfiber towel.

an0malous 09-14-2007 01:10 AM

should always avoid doing circular motions on your car ;)

me too man.
but ive read it a few times....and it makes sense, it kinda promotes swirling in your clearcoat.

Im no pro at this stuff, alot of times i just regurgitate the learnings of my reading. but i do remember quite a few people saying it.

Renesis 09-14-2007 03:44 PM

what brand of liquid claybar did you use? I don't remember ever seeing that.

PlaysWitCars 09-14-2007 03:55 PM
