Sometimes you just have to do it instead of worrying about what a few other cobalt owners think. =)

You get beat to the punch like this.

Its a badass VR4. Are you here for the CED meet? if not I can snap a bunch of pics of it with a bit of a mod list if you want. Its one of the best street car/cruiser and cleanest galants in the country.

Those are R1 Concept Rotors that are warped to hell already. They look good though.

Working good man! Loving it still and surprising people all the time. The car has a reputation starting to grow out of it. Which is nice and bad at the same time. My car has all sorts of stories that have made it "Mythical" o_O

Evidently I got t-boned by a drunk driver to get stuff for the car and it has 600whp, lulz

Powdercoating requires most to get new brembos and replace seals and the like. You can do either one of those things. Some have spray gunned, some have spray caned (this is what I did), and some are clearing them. Mine are not cleared, but I will have them redone very soon so this will be happening as well. The brembo decal is from EBAY. Look up 09 Cobalt SS Brembo Decal and it should come up.

No problem, questions are how one learns.

Thanks bro! Just trying to do something different. And yeah most definitely do them, SO worth it for the more 'high end' look ya know.

dayhoff35 05-06-2011 12:46 AM

did you take tem off to paint them or did you paint them while they were on the car?

Scythe_Snake 05-06-2011 01:01 AM

Painted them while they were on the car. Bagged and taped up a LARGE area around it, removed the pads and then painted.
