Well I picked them out and she got them on ebay. Yes it has highs and lows. When on low the bulb is down and then on high it moves up. She got them here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BI-XE...54226511QQrdZ1

Huh? You have a bi-xenon HID bulbs running thru a single beam housing? How is dispersion of light on those things. Usually Bi-zenon bulbs are used with headlight housings that have projector lenses on em. I'm sure they work ok but double check whether you are using Bi-zenon or single beam pattern...cause from what I can see in the pics, you are using regular single beam housings.

they're referred to as bi-xenon because it is a single bulb that works for both the low beam and high beam.

Cause like everyone else but you, I am a car enthisiast. I like cars....maybe not GM cars that much, but I still appreciate cars in general. You ask why I'm on a Cobalt forum when I drive an Impreza? Well I like cars, I like to read up on my 'competition' so u could say...and I have a coupla frd's that are on this board and own Cobalts. Don't have to be so defensive...There are enough ppl on this board that do not own a Cobalt or a Chevy for that matter.

BTW, I am on Nasioc aka Nascock...but what's so great bout posting on only one board. Where have you been? Trolling the VW forums with zeeee Germans? I only see 6 posts under your name. So why don't you stop the hating hahaha lol

BTW...my bad...thought you were referring to bulbs for Projector type lamps only.

i agree. just looking from the first pic it doesn't look like they light up the road at all. very narrow beam and doesn't even light up what's in front. you were better off just getting 4300k or better yet stock. i would like to see the beam against a wall though like merc said.

Agreed. 4-4300k would be a lot nicer. It'll provide more lumens in terms of light output compared to the 8k. Personally, I'm using 6k and that's a good compromise for a lil colour but mainly white light. My next bulbs will def. be a 4k setup. I just rather have more light output that blingy purpleness to the beam. BUt I guess its really up to what the driver wants. Either way its gona look pimp!
