Instrument cluster gauge pod(pics)

Got bored so Kory and I (mostly Kory) molded in a gauge pod with a shortband meter. This was all custom molded with a A-pillar pod and my stock cluster bezel.

Lol not for sale. All we did was shape it with a dremel then used plastic weld to adhere it to the bezel then bondo'd it primed it then painted .

Looks really good man. Your always one step ahead of me lol. I just started doing mine but dual for my interceptors. Never thought of using those A pillar pods. That looks alot better then using PCV pipe. Where'd you get the plastic weld at?

The pod was meant for an A-pillar.I spent 9 bucks on this(hardener and primer)and thats all I wanted to spend.I got it from my work(autozone) a very long time ago for my S-10(sold).When I sold it I striped everything aftermarket out of it.So it was laying around for 2 years.Basically we cut it to fit in the cluster bezel then cut the bezel itself to fit the gauge, plastic welded it,then bondo'd it,sanded, sanded, sanded, primed, baked, prep'd,painte d,installed.

silver would of took another hour to get to lay out right.(lots more prep work) and we didnt have clear so it would of looked like grey primer with flake lol.Black matches everything in the interior though so im really happy with it.
