i rode a secaII around for a while and got tired of it. i had a tri-z that i blew the motor up and wanted to do something fun so i put it in this yamaha tri-z. i rode it quite a bit and it was a lot of fun. i think the seca was about 70hp. it dropped a valve and destroyed the motor lol.

2000 SS camaro M6. i'm a huge ls1 4th gen F-body fan. had a lot of these... this one i got for about 4500 bucks with 83k miles on it. i put a lid and loudmouth 2 exhaust on it. and basic maintenance.

ran 13.4@104mph i autocrossed it a few times and did well in the f-body class.

right after i drove this thing home i went to the car wash and that undercarrage spray sprayed all over the bottom of the car and the exhaust and one of the stock manifolds cracked LOL.

it was a paint in the ass to get off with lots of stuck bolts, i got it off and welded the crack and it was good to go.

i sold this for 7000ish made a couple bucks on it.

07 ss sc
ottp h/e
ottp dual pass
gm stage 2 w/ 2.8 pulley
ebay long tube
some generic chambered muffler

had a few problems with cars, had to smash the ic pump a bit when i first got it to get it working.

car stopped running randomly... broke a camshaft and busted some cam cap bolts.

had to rebuild top end. all new sensors. runs good now. i only put 2k miles on it before engine went **** up. has 104k on it now. i like the car but i kinda wish i would've held out for another 4th gen ls1 fbody or a turbo cobalt. but overall i like the car other than the interior is pretty loose.

the exhaust sound is terrible but i guess i have to live with it non turbo 4 bangers just sound awful.

I think for current production exhaust ZZP is the best sounding. Just don't delete the cat, resonator, or muffler.

That will definitely contribute to rasp especially if the CAT was stock. Before I was supercharged when I went from my stock cat to a ZZP 2.5" high flow cat (because of broken flex section) my exhaust went from sounding decent to louder/raspier/ricier. The rest of my exhaust was a Magnaflow 2.25 and while it sounded fine with stock cat it sounded like crap with high flow cat. So I didn't even completely delete it and it made a big difference. Here's a clip I made just to hear he exhaust during different modes of driving.

i don't think there is really anything that can be done to make the exhaust note sound "good" at least to me. i'd hate to buy a cat to put on becaeuse rthey are usually spendy. i dont know if two small resonators would be any better than one big one. some have said putting like a cherry bomb on it before the current muffler would knock down the rasp.

mine isn't very loud... but it is raspy.

Picked this up a few months ago. It's a '99 Olds Aurora that I bought from the original owner. I always wanted a first gen Aurora when they came out but could never afford one at the time. The window sticker shows this one ran $38k new.

That Cruze looks amazing in that color and with the hatch. Might need to look at one for a daily driver.

Thanks. The metallic blue changes quite a bit depending on the lighting as shown below with it parked in the service bay.

I would have loved to find a Kinetic Blue hatch with the black/brown (kalahari) leather interior, but there's not a lot of manual hatches at the dealers yet and I couldn't even find a sedan with the auto in that combo.

My wife looked at one of those but it was just to small for our family so we ended up with a new V6 Impala. I already scored a set of SS Camaro wheels for it when the stockers wear out.

The hatches are growing on me. I have contemplated a auto diesel hatch. white with the Kalahari interior

Been slowly polishing my other turds by replacing old yellow incandescent courtesy lights and headlights with LED lights. The new LED headlights blow the old halogen sealed beam lights that they replaced out of the water. I also painted the front grill to freshen it up a bit to make it match the new lights. On my other truck I applied bed liner as the bed was all beat up and missing paint.
New headlights but still with old chipped up grill and old milky turn signal assemblies.

Freshly painted grill with new lights

Took this picture to demonstrate difference between old yell incandescent bulbs and plug n play LED bulbs.

Getting bed prepped for bed liner on 1995 F150

Bed liner application complete.

Nice, I need to do that to my '86 C10. What liner did you use, and how do you like it?

I used the Duplicolor liner with the Kevlar in it just because that is what the CarQuest in town had. So far I like it though time and use will tell how it holds up as I will be hauling wood and other rough items. I would prefer a little more uniform an smooth finish. Even with a lot of mixing this liner would ball up and leave some globs. Using the provided roller was a joke though I could see it working well on smooth surfaces. It applied really well with the brush. I applied 3 coats.

Man that's a lot of blower whine for a TVS. Thing pulls really good though I like it. You have a build page or anything layout out the details of this build?
