sorry, but on cheaper cars flat black just looks like your between paint jobs or too cheap to get a paint job. most cars that are flat black are wrapped not painted.

I don't know, it really depends on what car it is. There's a turbo'd Hyundai Accent in my town that was painted Satin black, tinted tails, darkhousing headlights, and powdercoated black stock rims and it looks awesome. It doesn't look like he's in between paint jobs. It really depends on the car, flat black or satin black paint, and just the quality of the work.

how do you "wrap" a car in flat black. Just curious, I should have my autobody degree in 4 months and i never heard of wrapping a car

it's wrapped in vinyl. just like all the cars you see with vinyl graphics covering the car. instead they wrap in a flat black vinyl

the chrome cars you see are also wrapped.

Some old pics of the car. I think I was one of the origs to Black out back in 06'. I painted everything on the car black from the calipers to the exhaust tip. Even the headlights were completly black from a set of retro's I personally made. Only thing I wanted was black brake rotors.

My buddy has 5% on his windshield. Looks weird but it sure blocks out the sun. Oh and it is illegal as hell.
