Your build thread just scared me not even going to lie. I don't have anywhere to get it tuned around here that's got consistent good work. I need to figure that out before I start buying

You are going to have way less problems tuning than sandman. Sandman's car IIRC runs an E16 computer which isn't supported by a lot of tuning software. Yours is an E37 which is easily tunable and can be remote tuned by any of the gurus on this site.

Nope! I stand corrected. I keep getting sandman and another member confused. Ignore what I said.

I've been leeching from this website a lot but I've never really posted my questions. So how to you go about the remote tune plugging something into the obd2 I'm sure...

Gets pricey sometimes. Basically:

Buy HP Tuners for $500 new or less used.
Read your tune and send it to remote tuner.
Be tuned.
Sell HP Tuners for slightly less than you bought it for.

Or you could be stubborn like me and refuse to give up learning to tune and not sell HPT.

I still don't get why you'd sell it, if you're doing that much modification you're going to want to change it in the future, that's almost certain.

Also, if you can't find the front bumper for a G5 GT just buy the cobalt one and cut the center bar out.

Beautiful car, I'm in the same position trying to get rid of the ugly base front bumper and get a G5 GT with foglights. All 3 of the cars I've driven have been Pontiacs ('99 Bonneville, '01 Grand Prix, '09 G5) and the very reason I went with a G5 is because of how much I love the grill, but the bottom of the bumper with those fake vents is horrendous. Let me know if you find one somewhere!

Looks good! Sometimes I miss having some meat inbetween the wheel and the road. Low profiles have me feeling every crack, tar patch job, you name it. Im always afraid of ruining the rim...

I'd like to do something a little different with the front bumper but don't know if it would work. My coilovers drive me nuts and I'm not sure if I didn't fine tune it correctly or if it's the meaty tires. Maybe going lower will fix it Lmao as we'll as finally cutting the mudflaps that scrape all the time

You can get a 205 on that rim. I ran them years ago. Nice car! It will look a lot better when you start doing stuff to it. You can always take the spoiler off and plug the holes.
