My sister had a baby girl recently. Her name is Angelina. She is 1 month old.

I'm now officially an uncle and I love her to death.

Here are a couple pics from yesterday.
Check out the Great Dane. His name is Vegas. He is Angelina's 170lb. body gaurd.
He won't leave her side. It's weird as soon as the baby came home he has been super protective of her.









I think at this point she was all done for the night. lol

And about the dane being overprotective, this is a good thing, as long as he understands her parents are allowed to be near her. I have a lab/chow mix who is constantly with my son. If someone other than a family member he knows tries to pick my son up, he bows up and his hair goes on end. He knows who is family is, and is willing to protect them. Its a great feeling, knowing he's on gaurd.

That's cool man I have a chow/border collie mix. Chows are very protective.

Vegas knows to let when it's family around the baby but strangers are a no go. He gets right in between them and the baby. It is a good feeling. Thank you.

Thank you very much everyone. It feels good being an uncle light'bolt. She makes my day when I see her. It's like everything that sucks just goes away.
