He just added the resistor (the bronze box) to prevent hyper flash.

Okay thats what I thought. What size resistor... it looks like it says 6 OHM/50W? And it looks like its just added into the ground wire?

I dont have many people request the tinted lenses much. I perfer the clear ones as the tint over time looks yellowish to me. May i ask maven what you prefer to use for sealing? projector and lense?

They work but they blink too fast, youu need resistors. Use what your LED maker recommends

I find the tinted lenses look better longer. Ive never seen one go "yellow". Clear lenses tend to have less UV protectant and start to blister/peel sooner.
I use black stuff on projectors and grey stuff on the lenses

I have 3 real OEM ones that are yellow. There 05/06's though. I know you dont like to give out secrets so PM me if you'd like.

I forgot to put up my review! After having these lights sitting in my garage for a year, they were finally done a month or so ago. And I love them! Light output and cut off is perfect, they are the way the lights should have been from the factory.

the cobalts definately look nicer with the larger shrouds... takes up all the gap pretty nicely. looks good man.

Yeah those look good. Here are mine. Housings are plasti-dipped, shrouds were painted semi-gloss black.



I'll get a pic of the cut off perhaps tonight if it's not raining.

they are the mini h1 morimoto projectors with 5k and 6k led turn signals. heathkidder made these.
