There's someone on here that has what I'm talking about on a yellow SS/SC. It's in his sig. If I find it, I'll show you. I think it would look really nice on a SRTC that's going with a red and black theme.

damn, i got all caught up in doing it and having it turn out good that i didnt even think of doing a "how to" on it. did u use a polishing compound after u sanded? ...u got a pic?

...it was dirty as hell when i took the pics so i washed it right after.
Here's my SRTC with Rissa's front bowtie that I painted.

Looks great even with out the sun shining. What paint did you use, I am interested in painting my interior as well.

well thank you sir. Well I used the actual GM 5oz. "Touch Up" rattle cans But Duplicolor brand has a color from their TRUCK, VAN, and SUV line called "toreador red" thats suposed to be a close match.(i actualy have a can of it but havent used it yet to compare its much cheaper.)
this is what i sued, but i think i should have just used a regular primer cuz some of my paint already scratched off.

Cool, thanks. I'll have to do this soon. The car needs some eye pleasing color added to it.

I did my painting project this weekend (supercharger and valve cover). The paint is sport red tintcoat I purchased off of the web (base and midcoat) for about $70 with shipping (two large cans). Then you have to purchase primer/etc and clearcoat. I also purchase a new valve cover and supercharger gasket.
