Port and polished LS4 TB
Port and polished LS4 TB
well i picked up a ls4 TB and i started looking at it. there seemed to be alot of flow restriction to it. so i started to fix some of the issues. did some porting all around it and smoothing over some stuff. then polished when all done.
fo those that might not know a stock cobalt TB is 72mm and a 5.3L V8 ls4 TB is 77mm i got mine to 80mm.
im still waiting on the rest of the parts to get this on though. its just another piece to the puzzle.
here is it ported and ready for the sanding process

here it is all sanded and ready for polish sanded up too 2000 grit

and then all finished. the perfect polish brought to you by mothers

thanks for looking

thats halarious....So its 80mm at center and 77mm at the butterfly and your talking about restrictions. Holy hell batman. You can do a lot more damage than good on flow rates if you have no idea what your doing and i think you may have just done that. You created on oval TB. Good luck and god speed.. you'll need it
