BUT.........I got great news today! It's only going to cost me $1050 to ship the cobalt from Savannah, GA to Bremehaven, Germany!!!!! That's a lot cheaper than the last quote I got that was 3500+. So looks like the cobalt will be for sure making it's way to Germany before the end of the year.

This is the best news I've received all year. I'm currently going through a pretty rough personal time (Divorce) and I've been down in the dumps and pretty silent on the forums because of it. So I'm pretty excited about this news because it'll be the only thing I have left to keep me from losing my sanity when I get done with this deployment.
did u contact the people i told u about?

well, i tried, they are out of business now. But I got like 10 quotes now. The cheapest is 723 bucks, and it said it would take 12-18 days.

Few more months. I'm still deployed. I need Ryan @ZZP to get me my quote so I can pay for it and he can ship out my parts. It's just a few things to finish up the install of the turbo and fuel support.

I just bought 80s last night from mattman.

I'm ready to order:
zzp valve springs
zzp boost reference fuel pressure
zzp in-tank fuel pump
charge piping, tbolt clamps, silicone adapters
3.5" maf tube
44mm wastegate

maybe a few other parts, can't remember right now.

I'll be going with an ACT clutch.

Just bought these yesterday from 100%METH. Thanks buddy.

H&R Race springs

Also got a set of Mickey Thompson ET Drag Radials waiting for me already in Nebraska thanks to my buddy D1sclaimer that is looking after my car.

That's all for now, got 12 days left here in Turkey and I go back to Germany, then I go on leave to South Carolina at the end of July for 45 days. I will be out in Omaha where the car is to make a little progress, but I don't expect it to be running till near the end of the year, October/November timeframe.

I had those tires in 255/50-16 on stock steelies and they were heavy as ****! 57lbs per wheel/tire combo. I had em on when I chunked 3rd gear too. That's what made me sell em.

Depending on how much leave I get approved for, I may go ahead and get the beast up and running in Aug. We'll just have to see. I am tired of it just sitting in parts.

Ryan sent me my quote finally. Getting ready to purchase as soon as he tells me how he wants payment. Parts list looks like this....

Ralliartist Parts List:

twincharge piping
Precision 46mm wastegate
ZZP dump tube
Cobalt MAF tube
couplings
Tbolt clamps
ZZP Stage clutches - stage 4 the new ZZP clutch is now fixed and they are kicking serious ass, I am not scared to recommend the stage 4 with the ceramic disc
ZZP BRFPS-Boost Reference fuel pressure system
fuel lab regulator
Fuel Pump

Priced very reasonably also, and discounted. I think it's proof that you aren't too smart if you don't use ZZP in your build. These guys are awesome. Can't wait to get this thing finally running next month!
