recent shots in parking garage

here are some day and night shots

euipment: canon rebel xt digital slr, kit lense (kinda shitty), tripod, clean car

i wish i could post tiff (jpegs tend to get grainy after a while), but there is a mb restriction.

p.s. hit F11 for larger viewing area

whish i had more overhead night lighting

looks good, most of the parking garage ones are under exposed...

I do have one tip, turn the wheel so that the face of the rim is pointing at you... #1&2 as an example.

yeah i really didnt like the night ones much. i did shoot them in raw, so i can expose them a little more. i have trouble with shooting in low light situations (mainly b/c i like to use slow film + bright outside comps in traditional b/w photo and i have adjusted to it)

with the wheels, i planed on shooting the vehicle with a realistic sense of actual movement through the parking garage, but when i got out i realized the sun wasnt at the right angle. and now that i look at it, tread is ugly.

thanks for the input!

yeah, lol. i just decided to remove it b/c i dont use fm anyways. and it takes the element of potential car theft out.

Where'd you get the thing (yea, "thing") on the bottom of your back bumper? That looks sweet!

Yea that's what I meant, I didn't know it came stock as I have never seen the rear bumper of an SS (only the SS/SC which looks completely different). Thanks!

low light exposure is really difficult for anyone when using only available light, but RAW is very helpful with that.. Do you shoot in Manual Mode? What ISO did you shoot indoor ones with? (sorry i cant view exif data at work )

i always use shutter speed priority. and i always shoot in either 200 or 400. this was 200 the whole day.
