Almost done with paying my 05 SC not sure if I want another payment yet but this seems to be a good deal

:( no thoughts

Just keep the SC and turbo it.

cobalt_ss187 04-23-2009 01:17 PM

have them bring down the price to 19k and I would call it a deal

or what he said^^^^

widowedeight 04-23-2009 01:17 PM

only if you can talk them down.... and get them to throw in the stage kit for free..... and put your catback on the car...... i am sure they will do all of that if you just ask

FriskyDingo 04-23-2009 01:20 PM

I'd try to talk them down to $17.5-18K out the door... how much would you be able to put down though? With the economy in the shit box it might be a good idea to save some money instead of pickin up another set of $350 a month payments in exchange for a car you own outright... just my two cents

xyankees214x 04-23-2009 01:22 PM

I would do it before things get better and cars are back at there normal price. If your going to buya new car now is the best time to do so. You wait another year and a half two years saving money who knows what the car buisness will look like.
Also Gm laid off there SS department and they're not making any more cobalts so that could increase the value soon.

Is it just me or does it have a Chvrolet sticker on the windshield?

n323er 04-23-2009 01:40 PM

Thanks for the input will see what the dealer says

It looks like it does ... either it's a dealer lay on, or a dealer mark up option that they'll bitch at you for asking for it to be removed. Windshield banners like that reminds me of the 90s and 80s. :thumbsdow

Do you really want to pay for another cobalt for 5 years?

RuSSo-29 04-23-2009 01:45 PM

I wouldn't. Not worth Jumping back into another Cobalt.... Wait and save some $$ and get a better quality car....

Exactly!

SS4ME 04-23-2009 01:47 PM

Warranties kick ass. Plus another car payment will keep your credit rolling as long as you're good about your payments. I was payment free for several years and it actually lowered my credit score.:thumbsdow

where i live buy they were selling 08 ss/tc coupes for 15k no paint warranty but still hell of a price!

Why not if that's what he likes? I would consider it if I was actually in the market. I can't think of another car that is as reasonably priced that I would want.

That would be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty if it's peeling and if they can determine if there is no fault from the owner.

Lol, you can use your credit card at any other stor buying cheap stuff if your really wanted to keep it going

swazzees 04-23-2009 02:08 PM

thats a pre owned vehicle...
they are going to attach a high rate of interest, i would add the interest aquired to the total taxes in purchase amount and get a grand total that you will pay for the car.
i bet a " new " car will be cheaper..
