The run was a little quick but fun.........that cop's face was PRICELESS!!!!!!

BTW my computer completely crashed on the way home. Computer doesn't even start up now. I just got done flashing a mild tune too. Go figure.

 

Dude, haha, the cop saw me first, then saw everyone behind me, lets just say his jaw needed to be picked up hahaha.

 

Yea the cop WAS priceless!! Keeping up with everyone was wild. I had an awesome time. And to the young guy who told me I was "well aged" you made my day. There were some SWEET 'balts there. Let's do it again!!LOL

 

Yeah the look on that cops face was PRICELESS. I never saw a cop try to write a ticket so fast in my life. He must of thought he was going to hit the mother load.

Guys it was a pleasure meeting all of you and seeing the original 7(minus 1 Eric) again. The meet was awesome and the turn out was great. The cruise was sweet. That was the first time I have really run my car through the canyons like that. The average MPH on that run was about 73. JimboSS and I waited at the church for Doc to catch up so we missed the last couple of miles of cruise. But we had a cool little run to the freeway.

Doc thanks again for the Torque Management tune, big difference and thanks for the compliment on my car. It is nice to know that despite my neighbor's inability to stop scratching it, it still gets noticed.

OH yeah NinjaHampster, DROP AND GIVE THE GROUP 50 for FORGETTING THE MUSTARD AND KETCHUP. BASTARD. hahahahha J/K

Hey. Ya. The cruise was nice. It just sucks that everyone took off from the park so fast. I literally did over 80mph up Yorba / Imperial just to catch up to the gang. That was not cool. I would have been very bummed if I lost the group at a light. I had no idea where we were even going. I can understand a few members frustration.

Best thing to do is to pull over to the right, hit the flashers and give people a few minutes to make that left out of the park. I normally have a nice group of cars in my group, so I am caravan savvy, Heheh.

I do have some bad news. I think at least about a dozen people asked me if I ever got a ticket or busted cause of the “bumper cam”. Well, guess what. On the 5 North, right around Dodgers Stadium I got nailed by a CHP. No front license plate, tinted front windows, NO FRONT HEADLIGHT. There was no talking to this guy. He was set on writing his ticket. This guy was all over my car too. I was waiting for him to ask me to pop the hood, but it didn’t happen. He got down and looked under each side of the car. Surprised he didn’t say anything about the exhaust, but he didn’t.

Speaking of the video – I was watching some of it on the way home (on a 2” LCD screen – not fun, lol). Vid looks great. I’ll load it to my computer hopefully tonight and see what I can do. i cant friggan believe i missed that.....omg i hate my job...whats this about a tune for torque management i really need that.....my clutch is gone im on th market for a new one man when i the next meet ??????????? lets get a date quick so i can put in for it...and not jus call in sick....lol


btw who has the torque management tune ......i neeeeeeeeeed it...lol

 

haha....chill...its not nesscarily a tune, doc just turns off the torque management off on the PCM. and have him lower your boost in first gear, trust me, the car grips good as hell of the line, making for a perfect launch a good 80% of the time, and once you put in into second, it just rockets.

he was talking about mastor calling in sick sunday... doc i really appreciate you doing the tq management to my car and everyone else's... i know it must have sucked for you, but you were still really cool about it! i have a bunch of pics that i need to upload! also i ran the white srt (stage 2/i/e) on the way home from about a 70 roll and we stayed exactly neck and neck the whole time!

Just wanted to add that it was a great job by all. I do not own one buty rode up and along with Nick the Well Aged Man (ole Fart). Anyhoo, guess we cannot say enough about the cop trying to give that ticket and pissing his pants. Hats off to all on the turnout which easily viewed in all your awesome pic's. hope to check it all out again. WD

 

i vote for next meet June 30th the weekend before 4th of july. we could have our own pre 4th party/cruise (cruise - slow paced )

 

ya i think a slower cruise w/ more video time would be good... the 30th sounds good to me!

 

Yea, i didnt mean to go 80. I just didnt want to hold the canyon up too much. But yea i was thinking the same thing, just literally (enphasize that) cruise. It was cool. Im down for the 30th. I can help get things together if anyone has idea about a meeting place and such.
