heres my new exhaust. i dont know if i like it or not... think i;m gonna add a res.... also for some god damn reason, my exhaust tip has turned GOLD!......wtf??? anyway heres the clip..... make sure you listen to the whole thing, i go about 3 blocks away from the cam.

gold color is probably from tip being hot as well...

What does the resonator do?

Its hard to explain, but it sorta smooths the exhaust out. Takes that raspy sound out of it.

acts almost as a silencer. makes the note alot quieter

yea i like the raspy sound but i think its a little over the top but i really like that exhaust.

resonator install in t minus 30 min!

Resonators don't silence exhausts, they just make the tone lower.

Saunders, good luck with the resonator, it should smooth that out a bit and take car of some of the popping. Let's see the vid asap!

i like it, it sounds even louder than mine a resonator will def make it sound much nicer. how's the cabin noise?

what happened?

i did put a res on it, but the exhaust gets so hot it melted my bumper. twice. a TECH that removed the exhaust said the problem is with the cat in the tag exhaust, he said that it was a faulty cat.... BECAUSE my header is warm, all other exhaust pipes were warm, but the cat you couldn't even touch, to the point when you lick your finger and stick it on it, it would sizzle, i think somehow i got a bad cat in a bunch. i havent told mel this yet........ also, the tech ran tests on my car. and found out that it was running awesome, everything was perfect after the stock exhaust was put on. so this rules out that something is wrong with my car.

with the tag exhaust my car also threw a CEL..... checked the cel and it said the cat was fucked.... me and mel had a little spat on the phone today, he wont refund my money, only half, and if the cat is fucked, than he dosnt know what he will refund me. i'm thinking about getting a lawyer since a tech told me the cat was fucked from day one. and not caused by me...
