Went to the local mountains, and I was pretty much the only car on the mountain, so I decided to get a couple vids of my exhaust. CA v1 header, vibrant d/p w/ magnaflow cat, hahn 3" c/b. Also got some decents pics too.

Too loud for my tastes.

 

ya im not a huge fan of loud either, but you gotta pay to play sometimes, and i was happy that i finally got a decent sound out of it... i want to get another resonator on there somewhere to quiet it up a bit.

i found a magnaflow 4"x14" round body muffler that im gonna order this week and chop into my downpipe. i think it should quiet it down a bit but still sound good.

ya it was acutally louder before at idle, but not quite as loud at wot, and i can count the number of times i got wot in one week on one hand so its not to big of a deal for me. im not denying that its loud but any aftermarket exhaust is and at least this one doesnt sound like complete ass w/ a header and d/p

it may get old, but stock doesnt sound that great, even though it is quiet.

 

i agree that is raspy, the Cobalt is not...the Cobalt is loud as **** though

 

ya im hoping an additional magnaflow quiets it up a bit, you can hear it from a long ways away in the second vid

Thats sounds reaaaallly sweet. It's a bit loud for my taste, but it certainly is a nice tone. It's throaty, not raspy (thin, rattly, farty).

 

thanks, thats why i like it... before, with my magnaflow muffler on the stock catback, it sounded like ass if i would get on it before 3500 rpms.
