Video of Glockglade's Cobalt SS Drag racing and Autocrossing
 

Hey guys its been a while since I've seen a good cobalt video so I decided to make my own. It took a couple weeks gathering vids but it's all done now. I came in 7th out of 12 at my first SCCA autocross competition! I was screwed from the get go (Put in street modified class It included 500hp evos, TT C5's, Aston Martin DB9, and a couple "race cars") My best time was the last autocross run it was a 55.6 and my category best was a 50.3 set by a TAV Racing GT35r 500hp EVO9 with full racing slicks and suspendion upgrades :( he had the biggest flame off the line and as a joke they gave him a trophy for it:lol: . p.s. there was a 400hp srt-4 running with a 50trim and full slick and I beat his best time by over 3.5 seconds! Ha ha ha........Ha he ran a 59.2:lol:

What happened on the 14.15 run?

they told me if I ran under a 14.0 I would be banned because I didn't have a helmet.

sweet vid man. can i get a picture or a link to where you got the SS emblems?

those emblems came on the car i just painted them and reinstalled them

i was wincing at that first auto-x run i watched. looked like you got a hell of a lot faster towards the end. nice job and great video. walk-around was a bit lengthy tho... might want to think about shortening that up. walk arounds are never that interesting.

good job overall! very entertaining.

btw no shit that 50 trim srt was slower :P . i bet all you heard was a turbo spooling but he never went anywhere. that was a tight course.

yea it was my first time ever autox-ing and i was late so i missed the walk around the track the first run was a 66.5 by the last run i had it down to 55.6 which was good enough for 7th place.

Yes you saw the road course in the background and that is what i really wanted to do but you need a liscence and 250 bucks just to sign up. The short track was just as fun.:twothumbs

I don't know if i'm working friday or not but yea we need to get on it she was breaking up a lil bit in first gear after the autocross. It sounded like a huge turbo car in first gear with the boost limit and everything if I didn't know better i'd say it sounded pretty cool you know the whineeeee then pop pop whinneeeee.... :)
